When we first arrived at the hotel the staff at reception were extremely nice, unfortunately our room wasn't ready till after 4 but we sat at the bar until the room was ready. Bar staff were also extremely nice. Room was pretty basic, nothing to write home about, bed creaked and also wasn't comfortable. TV was far from the bed...

The parking at the hotel is ample and the check in staff were nice. Our room however, was very cold on arrival. Seeing as it was the middle of December, I would have thought a pre-warmed room would have been nice. We had no towels in the bathroom when we arrived, but when we tried to call reception about both...

I took my Mam away for a night as she has been taking care of Dad who is ill. We were booked into the spa for the afternoon and when we arrived our rooms weren't ready. We had arrived before check-in, so I understood and the receptionist showed us to the Spa. The ladies working there are fantastic, but the...

Reception staff were friendly. Rooms were slightly delayed but to be fair were clean and spacious. Bar staff were short and quite aggressive. Not welcoming at all and personable skills were severely lacking. This really put a a dark cloud over the stay.... I won't be staying again as a result.

Really brilliant staff. Food was grand. One of us is a vegetarian and was easily catered for. Place itself could do with a lick of paint and a deep clean but for a night away and fantastic staff it really is grand

The corridor to the rooms was smelling of cigarette smoke, even though the rooms has the no smoke sign. The breakfast (charged) took forever to come and the cold meat table didn't have fresh meat. The orange juice was rotten and the glass dirty. The room was the only positive thing, was clean and the bed quite comfortable.

Hi guys, just had a weekend in this Bunclody hotel. We ate in the hotel restaurant on the first night. Both had a 4 course dinner, which at 20euro each for residents was good value. Starters was chicken wings, excellent. For the main course we choose the burger, the middle was hot but the edges were a bit cold. Also the chips were like reheats,...
