We have stayed here a couple of years back and we were really impressed with the Restaurant upstairs, so we were looking forward to our meal. However the Restaurant is now closed and the meal is in where the bar is. The overall feel of the Millrace is of a Hotel working with the bare minimum. The bed as someone...

Booked this on a deal for 1 night to treat my Mam. Hotel staff were very pleasant both at reception and at the bar /restaurant. Room was nice size. As others have mentioned it was cool when we arrived but easily turned up the heating and was nice. Tea and coffee facilities provided, along with a fruit plate as a...

Walking into reception, a warm atmosphere of wooden panels and fixtures is welcoming you, with a smiling lady at reception desk attending to your reservation. The hotel is fairly new, so when we walked into our room we were delighted to notice the good size of it, and the very good furniture provided, all in wooden fittings. The bathroom too,...

Took awhile to Figured out the heating but got it in the end but could have done with instruction on how to use. The duvet on the bed ( 2 single beds put together)...

Yes our daughter gave us this weekend away as a present for our wedding anniversary. We were never in Bunclody before so we looked forward to a relaxing weekend. We were not disappointed. Firstly Bunclody is an attractive area and a ramble up to the Bunclody Golf and Fishing Club was very enjoyable. It is right across the road from...

Nice Hotel don't think I would rate it as 4 star. Staff in reception very welcoming room clean, If I can give a couple of faults it would be that the walls in the rooms must be very thin as I could hear the man next door snoring I had to go to sleep with the tele on to drown...
