The hotel is situated within the French Quarters and you can easily get around Puducherry by foot. The staff are attentive and helpful. They gave us a lot of recommendations on what to see in Puducherry. The highlight of the whole hotel to us was probably the food. We had dinner

Excellent property, well maintained and outstanding food. Though a bit far from the beach but doesn't matter so far it is close to beach. They must do something about the gap between the bed mattress and the head rest which invariably becomes the hole for the pillow to give you

Yes UBUD it self is quiet safe . There are no security guard here but was a safe place to be at . You may need a flash light in the night to walk to your room . But the place is worth staying . You won't regret staying here

It's absolutely safe! In one of the best parts of Pondicherry. Regarding unmarried couples, I don't think it should be a problem. Although we travelled as a married couple, we have different surnames and the management did not particularly confirm our marital status.
