Second stay here, and both times stayed for at least 4 nights. I love it! the garden is great to relax with a beer and the restaurant is changing from comida tipica. The rooms are very clean and the hot water works for real! Also not so far from the canopy in La Campa and close from aguas thermales and the mountains Celaque and Puca for the hiking. The staff is really helpfull and professional and the owners are really welcoming! I'll be back for sure

The best place in Gracias! Murals from local artists, gardens with beautiful flowers, and many places to sit back and relax... mine was definitely the hammocks, or patio with mountain view. Food was fantastic, all homemade, and the drinks too!! Rooms nice and clean, and I had hot water in my shower every time :) Very safe, and a great place to meet travellers and cool locals ( like the owner )

I went with a group of 5 friends to Gracias, Lempira with the intention of hiking the mountain: Celaque National Park. We originally planned to spend only 1 night at the hostel, camp on the mountain the next night, then check into a fancier hotel for the duration of our trip. Our guide up the mountain was the owner of the hostel; Angel. He was so nice and new the mountain very well. We felt very safe with him. We opted to stay at Jardin Cafe for the duration of our stay because Angel and the food at his restaurant won us over! Angel and his staff are easy going friendly. He took us ziplining, toured around downtown, to the hot springs and even helped us get some laundry sent out. Sightseeing there is amazing. The views are unbelievable. Gracias is charming. Best part was the food at Angel’s restaurant though. We stuffed ourselves everyday! Thank - you Angel and the staff at Jardin Cafe for helping make our trip such a fun experience! See you next year!

We love this place so much that even though we live in the same city, we spent a night here on a "staycation"! The food is by far the best in the city (my favorite meal is the chicken with herbs) and the decor and ambience are unlike anything you will find elsewhere in Gracias. The owner is extremely accommodating and they are now making their own tajadas that are out of this world! We stayed in the dorm room with 5 beds and a bathroom. The beds were very comfortable and the room was immaculate. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We came here on recommendation from an employee at D&D Brewery for my wife’s birthday and it was perfect. We got a private room ($35/night inc great breakfast) which was lovely and spacious. Very clean with an incredibly comfortable bed, good bathroom with hot water and plenty of plug sockets! The WiFi throughout the hostel is pretty decent too. Angel, the owner and manager totally lived up to his name and was so friendly and sociable and helpful throughout our stay! Gave us advice about where to go and what to do in Gracias while we were there and how to get to our next destination and hung out with us on the evening of my wife’s birthday. He also made us a pizza for free which was absolutely brilliant! All the food we ate here was great quality and very good sized portions! Overall we had a pretty perfect stay while we were here!! Lovely rooms, great hostel, tasty food, plenty of cold beers and great staff and company! What more could you ask for?! Gracias is not really a popular location with international tourists yet, but coming here alone would make it worth a visit! Highly highly recommended!!!
