This hotel is very nice for the money they ask for, it’s within a walking distance from town and the fortress entrance is right in front of it. The street noise is not that bad but the bunch a parakeets are very loud in the morning and you can’t sleep late.

This was a very clean hotel and it provided fantastic service! My double bed room was basic, had A/C, hot water, TV and a fan. I didn't need much more since I was there on business and was only staying one night. The customer service was fantastic. I needed to get some laundry done and they were prompt to tend to my request. It's also conveniently located in front of the fort and within walking distance of downtown. I slept so well, I missed breakfast the next day, so I cannot comment on that.

I've recently been there for holidays and it has a clean bedroom, the breakfast was good and it's close to Fuerte San Cristóbal! I recommend this hotel if you want to go to Gracias, Lempira with your family or friends because it's kind of cheap!

Caxa Real is a small hotel but on the larger side for Gracias. The lobby was clean and welcoming although the staff person who checked us in was not the most friendly. We stayed on the first floor with a window facing the interior courtyard that doubles as a parking lot during the evening. The room was pristine and the bathroom was all tile and well maintained. The mattress was in great condition and we slept well with the ceiling fan on. Air conditioning was available for an additional $5USD per night but it was raining and the weather was relatively cool since you are up in the mountains. Would definitely return!
