We visited this hotel in 2011 and had an amazing time. It was cheap and cheerful and our first vacation as a young couple on a budget. The staff were friendly, welcoming and made you feel like part of a family. The all inclusive bar was open until late and the staff didn't mind what you asked for they accommodated... More

went to costa calma in december and was very disappointed to find that the Althay had closed, the pool empty and the reception area and shop empty with no sign of any activity or building work going on. I hope the fantastic manager Antonio has found another hotel on the island where he can work his magic.

Stayed for 14 nights AI. On 1st night was in a ground floor apartment, very small and hot, so asked for an upgrade the next morning. The very next day we were given a second floor apartment, which was excellent, much larger and a balcony which overlooked the pool (all at no extra charge). Food was good, beer on tap... More

We just stayed two nights on a trip away from further north. we had stayed there before perhaps 10 years ago for two or three nights. I could not help be reminded of Ryanair 737-200 planes in the early days. Very basic and tired. This is how Apartamentos Althay were. You even had to pay for everything extra. A kettle... More

We stayed at the Althay on AI and could not fault it. We were greeted on arrival by the manager, Antonio, who took the time to show us on a map where the local beach, shops, bus stops, etc were, and then showed to our apartment. We were very happy with the apartment, which was spacious and clean. It had... More

Quick Review: Me and my girlfriend went for 7 nights all inclusive at Althay and had a fantastic time. Althay was up there with the most positive and... More
