I stayed here for a week in early December from the 5th to 13th, it was the second trip my husband and I have had to Costa Teguise. Though our hotel was not on the sea front, we found it no problem to have a leisurely ten minute walk down to the beach, we enjoyed it. Last time we came to Lanzarote we stayed at Be Live Experience which was on the beach, but when we booked El Trebol we knew this wouldn't be the case and that was perfectly fine for us. We wanted to try a different hotel this time. We were offered the choice of which floor we wanted our room on, really great! The hotel has multiple pools which other guests were making use of, I'm not a swimmer so I didn't. Our weather during our stay was on average 21 degrees throughout the day, very pleasant, and thankfully there was never a shortage of sun loungers so we always had the opportunity to relax on the hotel grounds. The buffet restaurant is the best we've been to, every night there is a different themed cuisine which provided a great range of delicious hot and cold food and it catered for the many guests that were also staying there at the same time we were. The beauty of going all inclusive is the dining, and apart from at breakfast we never had to queue for the hot beverages machines. There is a nice pool bar where there's some food available throughout the day, good if you've missed breakfast or fancy a light lunch. El trebol is immaculately clean, and we were impressed with our room which was a lovely apartment. It was handy to have a fridge and cooking facilities, though we never needed to use the hob or microwave. We easily rented a kettle for a fiver, which you get refunded when you return it. The front desk was always helpful and professional , what stands out on one night was when we had an issue the concierge was prompt to investigate the problem and resolve it immediately, for which we were grateful. There is a good little bookcase in the front lobby filled with novels in different languages, I treat is as a lending library and if I took a book to read I put one of mine id finished on in return for other guests to read. It was a nice little feature. We were pleased that on our leaving day, when our coach to the airport wasn't coming until 6pm, that we were offered a complimentary room for a half hour in the afternoon (as check out is at 12 ,3 or 6pm,depending on if you've booked late check out - which we hadn't). The front desk also let us put our luggage bags in the locked luggage room, so we didn't need to drag them around with us all afternoon. We were gladly informed that despite checking out at 12pm, we could still make us of the hotel facilities e.g. the buffet restaurant, pools, bar etc until catching our coach at 6pm. I cant speak for the nighttime entertainment as we never went, but there were entertainment reps about in the daytime also. Overall we had an enjoyable stay and we would reccomend El Trebol Apartments. Thank you for our stay.

Just back from a 2 week stay at this hotel. It appears that this was originally an apartment complex but is now classed as a hotel. Check in was quick & easy. We were asked if we wanted a ground floor room which we accepted.the room was fine & consisted of a lounge area, setee,easy chair, table & wall mounted TV. A small kitchen including a fridge. The bedroom was ok but lacked drawers for storage. Good job we took clothes hangers with us as their was a shortage of them in the wardrobe.
The bathroom was ok but the lack of toiletries was a little disappointing, only 1 small sliver of soap provided. We have been in other hotels and shower gel has been supplied. The one sliver of soap lated 2 days and then we had to purchase our own. Our room was clean on arrival but we were not impressed by the cleaning each day. It appeared that the cleaning amounted to a quick mop with disinfectant judging by the smell. Their is also no housekeeping on two days each week.
Our bed sheets were change twice during our stay but we had to request fresh towels.
We were not impressed with the restaurant or canteen as my wife called it. On our arrival on the Sunday evening, the restaurant was already clearing away the food selection & place mats from the tables. The food in general was average it was not very hot. We saw many people using the microwave to heat food up.
The piano bar (there is no piano) is not a very comfortable environment & the entertainment was very poor. The Club House bar is more comfortable but the large screen TV only ever showed football.
Plenty of cats roaming the hotel grounds.
The pool areas are clean & well maintained & there are plenty of sunbeds.
The location is great, just a five minute walk to the front.
If eating out we highly recommend the following places. Bacchus, great steaks & Peskera, great food & attention to detail. These are realy great value for money & all within a 7 minute walk from the hotel.
This report might sound negative but over all you get what you pay for and as for value for money we can't knock it, it was a last minute choice.

We have just stayed here for a week.
It’s a big hotel and the rooms are a good size & clean we had a one bedroom apartment, the lounge was big enough and a tiny kitchen area which was good to boil some water.
We found the room a bit chilly of an evening, as it only got the sun first thing, but you may be grateful for that in the middle of summer. Our view was blocked by tall trees/plants, bit disappointing, ask for a .3rd floor room, although there are no lifts!!
The restaurant gets very busy and noisy and you may end up waiting for a table. The food is plentiful although not always hot just warm, they do a theme each day, which is ok. Once your plate is empty they take it away straight away even if you’re not both finished!!
There is only the one main bar with entertainment, so if you don’t want a group of 20 year olds trying to entertain you, with bingo, music quiz ??, Disney songs etc then you are out of luck. Not the best bar area just a big room with a small bar and rows of tables and chairs!
All in all, you get what you pay for, and we paid £430 pp for a week, so not bad really. Just a big hotel with very little going on or places to sit of an evening.
One tip I’ll give you....take your own bath towel, there’s are so small!
If you want to hire a bike, go down to the front, through the bar/cafe area on to the sea front, there is a small hire place on the right, 14€ for 24 hrs no deposit, we hired some bikes and cycled to Arrecife.

Having spent a week at this location and on reading some of the reviews I felt I would need to write my own. We arrived on a Thursday and was met by friendly staff and a very clean room, with everything required. The rooms are not cleaned on Fridays or Saturdays but every other day the cleaner was in the room ensuring everything was at a decent standard, fresh towels, bedding and anything else required was always left.
The pools are very clean and there is a large area to place sun beds, people were out at all hours putting towels out as they do at any other hotel however unlike any other hotel there was plenty of beds, as well as space available if you got up at a normal time.
I cannot fault the food, the hotel or the staff. Hotels are not perfect and this one isn’t either however I had an excellent week away at this hotel. You are supplied with free WiFi in your room and also a free safe in the room as well as other items if required. Very impressed with that as I have never had that before. I have no complaints and am more than happy to go to this hotel again. I do not think the bad reviews reflect what the hotel is actually like. Do not dismiss this hotel as it is well worth a visit.

Sadly only have two nights left . We have had a lovely valentines meal in the restaurant which you catered for above and beyond with you special touches , balloons stunning romantic desserts ,lollipops and sweets for the children and also a valentine s photo booth. The food every day has been varied and really good quality. All the staff from reception, maintenance, housekeeping, restaurant and tui reps are exceptionally accommodating. We had some minor problems with our room the hair dryer wasn't working and our coat hangers had sharp tacks sticking out of them, one phone call to reception and maintenance were up and fixed it within ten minutes .The entertainment wasn't to our liking but that's not what we came for ,you are ten mins away from lots of lovely bars and restaurants. Basically we used this complex as a base to explore Costa teguise and it met all our expectations and more. Would certainly book this complex again. . We are staying in room 324 which only gets evening sun, so I would suggest requesting a sunnier apartment which I am sure they would happily do

Just back from our holiday 2 adults and 2 kids and I have to say we really enjoyed it and will definitely be back. I'll start 1st with the staff. All I can say they are brilliant. The reception always helpful, the staff in the restaurant always busy but keep the tables clean and area tidy. The 4 entertainment team of 3 fellas and the girl were always full of energy and always tried to include people in different activities like darts,water polo,mini golf etc. The staff in the bar were very good there is a short haired women and a women with glasses and they are brilliant at there job so I have to give these girls a special mention. The food always has a variety so loads to choose from. They have different themes on different nights like Mexican, international and roast but they have loads of different food on offer to cater for everyone. The pool area was always clean and although people were putting towels on there beds as early as 7 in the morning there was always plenty of space to put your bed. The pool bar has snacks and drinks which is again always clean. The location is 10min walk from the beach and bus stop literally 3 mins walk. We booked through TUI and the rep Simon was so helpful and advised us what to see and do and anything we booked didn't disappointed. The rooms are a good size and the air con is very important to have in hot conditions. The only small negative id have on the rooms is that the walls are thin and if you have loud neighbours you'll hear them. Over all we have a fantastic holiday and this was definitely down to the hotel and staff because if you have a good base the rest of the holiday falls into place. As I said already we will definitely be back in the future.

I have to say it was well worth the money, the hotel pools are as you see in the photos, area kept clean
Day time entertainment for children and Adults if they want to.night entertainment very cheesy but good cheesy! Had us laughing every night.
Food was lovely a different theme each night and plentyful.
Rooms are spacious free safe in the room with a kitchenette, we hired a kettle for 5 euros which was paid back when you leave.
Towels could do with a upgrade.
Overall this hotel is a brrlliant 3 star and we would return.

Arrived & checked in quickly. We asked for a sunny room & then was asked what floor we preferred. Great service.
The apartment was lovely. It was spacious, clean & had everything required including a safe. We had to get a kettle from reception but it was only a 5 euro refundable deposit. The balcony was huge with doors to the lounge and bedroom.
The dining room is a bit chaotic at times & the food can sometimes be a bit cold but there is always a good choice & the staff are quick at clearing away & setting new tables.
The pools are big & appear clean with a large children's pool with slides etc...& the pool bar provides hot & cold snacks as well as a full bar. (Beer, red/white wine, sangria, soft drinks & tea/coffee are all self serve)
Pool Towels are not provided.
The only downside to this complex is the 'entertainment'. It is terrible! We sat through it one night to give it a chance even though some of the comments from other residents were 'abysmal' & 'horrendous'. It truly was the worst experience ever. It seemed to aimed at the kids but in reality the kids could have done a better job. They are the most untalented entertainment team I have ever seen in all the years I have travelled. Every day, they came down to the pool to do a silly dance which is just embarrassing, especially when the 'singer' Lisa tries to do it.
Come on Management... do something about them...

Had a week here for a winter's break. The weather was glorious (we were very lucky and got a good week) As it had been really cloudy the week before and it started to drizzle just as we were leaving. We had room 111 on the ground floor it was perfect! Don't think we could have had a better room! The food was very tasty and plentuful maybe a little repetative... but as there was always plenty of choice we had a different meal every day. The evening entertainment wasnt fantastic but ok. Drinks in the evening were automatically served in plastic glasses but we assured for a glass and they obliged no problem. All in all it was a great stay for the money we paid. We've travelled all over and you must remember.. you get what you pay for! people moan on here that its not great...well if you expect 5 star then you have to pay for 5 star. Cheers and thanks to El trebol 👍 we had a lovely time.

We booked for some February sun. We were a bit nervous as there were some not so good reviews. The information is clear when booking, no housekeeping for your room on a Friday or Saturday and towels changed every three days. Did this bother me, not at all. Rooms were clean & whilst the beds weren’t the best they were fine. Generous balcony space. We were on the third floor and it was quiet but I don’t think there was a lift so prepare to carry your case.
The restaurant at times was very busy. They could do with another coffee/tea machine at breakfast personally it would be helpful to have milk near them for tea. Plenty of choice of food for all meals. We had already planned to have some meals out which broke it up a little. We loved the Chinese night.
The pool is very cold (Baltic) but if you brave it and swim to the other side, climb out and get in the next one it feels like a bath. Loads of sun beds.
The entertainment team work really hard but don’t push anyone who doesn’t want to partake.
It’s in a great location, close to the sea front, not far from the town. Regular bus service (and cheap). We caught the bus to Arrecife and walked back (but it was a long walk - the way we went was over 7 miles)!
All in all great value for money and I would return.

Yes pools salt water. I'm not sure of the closest beach but it's about a 10 min walk
Location is brill, 10 minute walk to bars and beach. There is a football pitch/ tennis court on site and you are able to hire tennis rackets. There is also mini golf on site that again you can hire equipment for. Right next door there is a small amusement with pool tables that a lot of teenagers gathered in at night.
Hello, we took a pushchair with us this year and asked for a first floor room and found there was ramps everywhere so never had any problems with getting around. I’m unsure whether you can hire a wheelchair though?
