Stayed here for 1 night for a special occasion and overall it was an amazing stay. We stayed in a “level” room and it had amazing view over the main pool area and beach. Only thing that bugged me a little was how work the room was - furniture had marks, chipped corners, back of curtains torn, parts hanging off the rail, etc. Overall just missing that 5star touch. It was a pity as we had such an amazing stay. The level pool area was amazing and so private and quiet and the spread for breakfast was really great. Absolutely loved the architecture of the resort and I would 100% return. Thank you to all the team for our great stay!

Hotel's Favourite
So I’m writing this review while part way through our stay. We have come to the hotel for 4 days before going across to Fuerteventura (Innside by Meliá) and then back for a few more nights at Secrets Lanzarote. From the moment we arrived our experience has been wonderful. We booked a Level Grand suite and are very pleased with it. The room is spotless and looks exactly like the website photos. We arrived at the hotel around 12.30 and were greeted by the bellboy offering us a cold glass of cava. We then went through the check procedures that were pretty standard - we had to forward our COVID test results to the reception email address but it was all painless. We were then allowed to check straight into our room. We were expecting to perhaps have to wait. Every request we have had has been met with a smile, and granted. We’ve used the Meliá app to order additional toiletries we forgot and they were delivered minutes with a smile. We’re staying all inclusive and there are a few additional perks as we are part of the level. At breakfast you can choose the level lounge or the main restaurant. For lunch you can order from the ALC menu or use the buffet. The quality of both in my opinion has been great. In the evenings there is always some form of low key live music and waiter service to your table. It’s excellent. The COVID procedures are exemplary- people are always cleaning. Sanitizers everywhere and even gloves for the Buffett. There have been so many great staff in reception, waiters, in bars and restaurants. The hotel is classic 5*. It’s unfair for anyone to say it’s anything less. I have heard other guests moaning or complaining about various things. But our experience has been great from start to finish.

Dear MoohanTerry, Thank you so much for sharing your excelent experience during your visit to Meliá Salinas. We are very pleased to know you have had such a wonderful stay in our hotel, and that you enjoyed our The Level facilities and services. Moreover, we are also glad to know that our gastronomic offer and evening entertainment at the Mosaico Bar fulfilled your expectations. But what makes us more proud are your possitive comments regarding the COVID19 protocol developped by Meliá Hotels International, in order to keep all our guests and staff as safe as possible. Please, let us thank you as well for the kind words towards the staff of our different departments. We will surely share it with all of them, so we can keep offering the service our guests deserve. We wish you a happy festive season, and hope we can welcome you back soon in Meliá Salinas. Kind regards, Guest Service.

Beautiful renovation and 10 wonderful days and as usual everything was very good. Very delicious and fresh food. Live music shows every night, and the best thing was the staff who constantly struggled to provide us with better service: Delgado Ana Mar Mafalda Lorena Wilson Toledo Julián Iván Abel Federica Armas Ramón Manuel Francisco Mónica

We spend Christmas at this beautiful and incredibly designed hotel. The food was out of this world, so much choice at the buffet each evening with everything presented to a very high standard. The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring the island, the beachfront location is a real plus and the Cesar Manrique designed swimming pool area is just to die for! The beds were very comfy and the private terrace was a real plus. Very clean, spacious. It was all perfect - we can't wait to come back!

I booked all inclusive and upgraded to the level. On first arriving was greeted by a wonderful member of staff (Pablo) As we had booked the level we expected to get the level experience check in - this didnt happen. We were checked in at the standard reception, our room was not ready so we were taken to wait in the pool area - the standard pool area NOT the level one. We got a beer and cocktail from the pool bar which were both served in cardboard takeaway coffee cups. This was so disappointing and certainly not 5*. The room was nice and clean although a broken tile leaving a hole in the patio and there was a skylight in the shower which was covered in black mold. Very disappointing that as all inclusive the mini bar didn't have any drinks unless we paid extra - ive always had drinks/soft drinks as all inclusive at other hotels. Signage around the hotel was non existent we wandered around frustrated trying to find the gym and other areas. The buffet food was limited and very dry. It sat under the heaters the whole time - dried up and awful. It wasnt until day 5 that we found out we could order from a menu at lunch instead of the buffet. This food was lovely. But noone told us about this and in fact every lunch after the staff would always ask for your drinks order and the direct you to the buffet and almost felt like you were putting them out by requesting something from the menu. On an evening it was buffet only - As all inclusive i have never felt that i need to eat out at previous holidays BUT this hotel we did eat out on several evenings. Included in our stay was one evening in the level restaurant (paid if you want to go anymore) this meal was excellent!!! and proves they are capable of providing a 5* experience. We often went to bed early after sitting in the bar frustrated with rude staff that simply avoided or took an unacceptable time to serve you. Jose was the worse person with no customer service skills. We were even told that beer wasnt included in our all inclusive deal when we ask to have two beers to take back to the room WTF The pool areas in particular the level is great. The man on the level pool bar is wonderful. the main pool pathways are so uneven and a trip hazard. duuring our stay a 1,5L bottle of water had been left by the gate to the level restaurant this was there for NINE days noone saw or cleaned it up. A tampon(unused) was on the pathway to the poo; for FIVE days. One afternoon we returned to our room at 3pm some guests had placed their room service plates outside their door and another had left several empty bottles at 10am the next morning as we headed for the pool these were still there!!! On checking out we simply got told 'thats fine' no questions about had we enjoyed our stay, safe trip home - nothing. I would like to point out that there were some wonderful members of staff MAR, ANA, DELAGO, PABLO and a man from the gym who i think was in charge of entertainment but on the whole the food, bad staff and lack of feeling like a valued customer spoilt it. Did not feel like 5* and so I would not recommend you book this as we were left disappointed! Covid precautions were very good
