We stayed here for 2 weeks. Great location friendly helpful staff, very clean. Food good my only criticism is not very hot which i know is difficult when catering for so many. An easy fix would to have microwave if people wanted to reheat. Would definitely return.
The good. Reasonable food but not brilliant. Nice room but small for a suite with poor views Friendly staff. Reasonably priced for all inclusive. The bad. Pour water heating doesn't cope with full hotel. No kettle, cups or hair drier in room but you can get these if you ask. No chef at breakfasts to cook omelettes etc. The normal rooms are small and poorly equipped. The Ugly. Suites are not suites just a spare bed nothing else. No internet in rooms and even poor in reception. In fact you get better signals from bars and hotels some way away. Jacuzzis in suites leak, sometimes to neighbouring rooms. They don't have a beach so you have to pay to use the local one which is close and nice Very small bar with limited access. Not s patch on its sister hotel Keri Village which is closed for Covid purposes.…
My family had a room in anex building. Breakfast is mainly as everywhere else in hotels. Dinner and lunch were better then expected. Especially dinner - special meals made by cook. Stuff is very helpfull. Hotel is clean. Pool is also a great oportunity. The beach is close to the hotel as well as excursions. Rooms in the anex are really loud from the other hotels bar. Until it closes it really looks like You are partipating in the bar while sitting in Your terrace. In main hotel building it is not applicable as it is silent to compare. Warm water in the early morning or at night is something impossible. I was waiting for it for 15 min and still it was coming cold water. With a little baby it is a big minus.
Lovely Hotel, fantastic location, food is amazing and all of the staff are friendly. We booked last minute and stayed in a room with a private pool, we loved the first 4 days by our pool and the neighbours where polite, unfortunately we then had new neighbours, it would be better if the fence between the pools was higher, to have more privacy as not everyone wants to be disturbed all of the time. The hotel was really not helpful when it came to our leaving day, we had to be out of our room at 10am which is fine, but they could not promise us anywhere to shower although we was quite happy to pay for this, they suggested that we asked on the departure day, the hotel was definitely not a full capacity but they said we should use the shower by the pool. We ended up paying for a room for the night up the road, so we could enjoy our day and have a proper shower before our flight.…
Covid 19 has affected us all and this applies to overseas holidays so we were concerned as to how things had changed at the Kalelia Beach Hotel, a place we had stayed at many times. Prior to departure we ordered our two day test kits from Randox and I contacted Zante Medical who agreed to come to the hotel to do it return to the UK tests all of these add extra costs to a holiday but more importantly extra stress over the gear of not doing something correctly. So, armed with our 2 vaccine certificates we flew from Newcastle via Jet2 on the third full plane. The hotel had a revamp during the lockdown with new beds and bathroom furniture, unfortunately due to covid, no kettles hairdryers tea coffee facilities available. Face masks are worn by staff and most guests and you wear disposable gloves at the buffet. With the lack of Brits going on holiday the hotel obviously had to bring in Greek, Italian and people from the a Netherlands which means no need to get up early to claim a sun beds because they don't do that, it is a British thing. Food at the Klelia, in my opinion is superb but the lack of a breakfast chef shows and fried eggs are out of a joke shop, like rubber. During our stay the Greek authorities declared Zante as being in a Red situation so no music or entertainment is allowed until August 13 when music was allowed on hotels and bars. Overall the holiday was magnificent again and we celebrated our golden wedding and my wife's birthday the day before and Nikos the chef supplied cakes and a lovely bunch of roses courtesy of him and Angela who clears tables serves at the bar as well as other roles. Would I recommend Klelia? We have been several times, so I think that answers the question…
