Detailed Reviews

Stayed here for 5 nights. Had a couple of issues that were dealt with effectively. Communication was great between ourselves and our hosts. The one thing I would say is that a 5 rating would've been given if the room was updated a little. One bed was squeaky and the bedroom area badly needs updating.
Was very happy with kitchen, all appliances worked great. Bathroom shower head wasn't great, a shower mat would've been handy.
Overall I would recommend this apartment. Very near to beautiful Inch beach, Dingle and the stunning sites of Slead head.
A good price for the 5 nights. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Stayed here for 3 nights with friends and we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay in this area.
The Murphys were so kind and accomodating throughout our stay.
They were very knowlegeable on what to do in the area which was also a great help!
Breakfast was very good, plenty of options available - even gluten free.
Rooms were very spacious and cosy with comfortable ensuite bathroom in each and nice hot showers.
The house is well located near Inch beach and is also a short walk away from the local village and the Anvil restaurant (very good Sunday roast!).
We did the Uphill Downhill walk from the house which I'd highly recommend for the sceneries around the Keel.
Thanks to Mary and family for having us, was wonderful meeting you!

The location is quiet, the room was beautyful, large and clean and the breakfast is enough and very good. Not all rooms have a good sight. For us, it does not matter.
For dinner we were at "Griffin's Bar & Restaurant", very good.
We recommend this B&B.

We booked for three days as two couples. After the initial confusion of potentially over booked for the last night and wanted us to move rooms the Host sorted the problem out very quickly and wasn’t an issue. The room was clean and tidy as was the room and the bed was nice and comfy. Only one downside was breakfast for example all four wanted toast but had just two slices cut in half although we could request more you would have expected at least one slice per person. Eggs were over cooked. Location great and the owner and staff were friendly obviously work hard.

The people were very friendly and helpful, but overall it was a hard place to stay at. although it was cute to have cows right outside, and a pub easy walking distance, the place itself struggled. The walls are very thin and so is the ceiling, we heard every footstep above us. The mattresses were thin. There are no screens on the windows, so when we woke up in the morning there were a lot of bugs in the bathroom. And although it bills as a B&B, the breakfast was extra.

Had an enjoyable stay at this wonderful B&B farmhouse near Castlemaine. Family run with a warn welcome from the Murphy family. I came here as a child in the early 80’s and it still has that friendly hospitable Kerry charm, as Mrs Murphy still manages the place with her family. The rooms do look a little dated, but this also adds to the charm. A little on the expensive side but well placed to explore Dingle, Inch and Tralee

This was a wonderful place to stay in the county of Kerry in rural Ireland. A beautiful setting and a clean and comfortable home. We had 21 and Mary Murphy was a communicative and wonderful host. I highly recommend it if you are in that part of the country.

Three-generations enjoyed our time in Murphy's self-catered farm house. Views over the bay and gentle noise of the farm next door. We cycled to Ventry/Carhoo Beach and only 10min drive to Dingle where the foof and ice cream were excellent.
Great access to Slea Head Drive and all of the excelent beaches along there.
Plenty of walks too for young and old members of the family....

This B&B did not meet our expectations. The bed was uncomfortable and the bathroom towels were threadbare. We were handed keys and were left to our own devices. We expected, at least, a good breakfast. The eggs tasted artificial. We hoped to be able to take a walk around the farm, but we were confined to a small parking area blocked by fences and roads.

Good availability because there are lots of rooms (around 14). Large breakfast with different options to choose including e.g. salmon.
Unfortunately our room was not properly cleaned up and there was a very disturbing noise because of the heating pump (ear plugs needed). Also we had the impression that there must have been fungizide in the room (black dots behind already flaking tapestry).

Morning Danny -
We were not traveling with pets; nor did we see any pets in residence. So I don't have an answer for you. Sorry. You may want to email the Murphys directly via their website. See "murphysfarmhouse"
Enjoy your travels!
