We spent one night here whilst discovering the local region and its wineries. It is a big old house with a nice garden and swimming pool. The owners are very friendly and speak fluent English. They can also arrange visits to local chateaux. There is good wi-fi in the property. Breakfast was good, fresh and plentiful. We paid 85 euros... More

It was our first visit to the Bordeaux region in France, and we wanted to stay in the Pauillac region. We discovered Chambre d'Hôtes 'Lou Bercail', and Dany was most helpful! She's an expat with a French husband and the B&B is centrally located to the big Grand Cru houses in Pauillac and St Julien. The accomodations were sufficient for... More

Spacious clean room quiet great breakfast (included) nice pool area gracious engaging hosts and bonus tour thru Patrick's art studio. Really enjoyed our stay. Dany speaks perfect English for those of us who know little French. Short walk to several pretty chateaus. Highly recommend.

My friends and I had such a great time at Dany’s place in September for the Marathon du Medoc! The rooms were spacious and comfortable, we had everything we needed. Dany and Patrick were both very friendly and helpful. She gave us many recommendations for the winery tours and restaurants, which all turned out wonderfully. I totally agreed with other... More

We read the reviews of Lou Bercail before we came and can honestly say we were not disappointed. Both Dany and her husband welcomed us warmly, as did Tucker the dog. My kids were in heaven having a dog to pet and hang out with by the pool. The rooms (we had two on the 1st floor) were spacious and... More

We had a really nice time at the Lou Bercail and recommend to others. The hostess Dany is delightful and is so friendly and helpful. Room was on the ground floor and we could have dinner outside on the back patio which was sooo relaxing. Breakfast was really good - wonderful croissants and great baguettes plus Dany's excellent homemade jams.... More
