Limited menu is a good sign, however all dishes were bland, preheated and I suspect some from a can or frozen. Prices are pretty steep, too. Waitress was probably someone‘s cousine, a disaster. It is a shame, there is no decent restaurant in the Roznava district.

Horrible choice Never ever. Small portions, terrible quality, old brown vegetables on the plate. Cold and uninterested waiter. Never ever again. Choose definitely some other restaurant in the surroundings.

If you intend to visit the castle nearby, staying at this hotel makes sense, as it is only 5 minutes away from the entrance to the castle. However, you can expect a very poor quality in terms of your breakfast, and totally overpriced. No service-oriented at all. They are just after your money.

We stayed just one night in this hotel. We checked in earlier than hotel's check in but we had no problem. Room was quite OK and beds were very comfortable. Hotel is perfectly located ... it is basically within Castle's park. Wifi was reliable. Hotel's restaurant is not a best one. We had breakfast there and it took forever to be served and the food was not looking very appealing.

After nice experience of castle visit, this experience completely spoiled the day. Firstly we needed to wait, then they brought us food in different times (4 meals - 4 different times). I ordered green salad with chicken. I got something swimming in white yougourt dressing. I do not understand why the Slovaks are not able to make normal salad with oil and vinegare, but they need to put everywhere dressings.... but if they put it to the side, then at least you can manage yourself...and it must be finished with grated cheese..90-ties are behind us. The same cheese was also on pasta with pesto. Pasta had 3 olives, 3 tomatoes.... I am Slovak, but everytime i come home, i just reconfirm myself that i cannot take here anybody from abroad because i would feel ashamed

We had an appartment with 2 rooms and kitchen in. People have different tastes but this was too much for us. Dark, noisy - you can hear every single word of the people sitting under the windows outside, red wall in the bedroom and black tree on it... well, not the latest fashion... Internet and TV did not work after our arrival, but the staff helped us and and that it was ok. As my husband has a diet and we had child with us, we planned to make own tea for breakfast and have own cereals with fruits - which is sometimes problem in the guesthouses. This time we had own food but in the room kitchen there was no cutlery or crockery. Absolutely nothing and we had to as for it in restaurant.... Not common in accommodation of this type anywhere. ... We wanted a light dinner - just some sandwich and ham with salad which were in menu - waiter firstly refused it saying that our choice is a breakfast menu and we could not get it, after our insisting on order she decided to go to the kitchen and ask if we could get what we wanted and the chef agreed... we got what we wanted. We asked what beer was available - brand of beer - she had no clue.... She even did not know if they had any.... Location of this place is fabulous - you are in the park of the castle, but do not excpect anything - you will not be disappointed. Next time we will find something maybe further from the castle but friendlier and cosier.…

+ Penzion was OK. Good enough for a 1 Night Stay. The Room which we stayed was looking very Old. But for the price we paid it was decent enough. Not Bad. - Half the menu was not available - disappointing, Early morning construction noise probably from the neighbors...

We have booked a one night stay and did not regret our choice. Location is superb. Literally 5 minutes walk from the chateau. Rooms were clean and contained everything we needed. We had both dinner and breakfast there and food was lovely. What made our experience even better was the staff. They were polite, professional and nothing was a problem. We would definitely go back. Location is very nice, just next to the mansion on walking distance at the beautiful park. It’s clean,very simple and not so bad to overnight for a very reasonable price. In the bathroom there is only plastic cup to find,no little soap, no shampoo. Sink is made in a way like the hight for a dwarf. Quite hard bed to sleep with a very thin pillow. Food is good, but also need an update.Slovakia has so many fantastic local products which they don’t use! Such a pity ! Balcony was quite messy!

I can give only 3 dot rating. Can not say It was a bad experience but wasn't good at all. First of all the smell of cigarettes was huge. The whole pension looks like the time stops somewhere in late 90's or early 00's. Unfortunately, it needs an update. Also, service just hobbled. Food a little more than average.
