When we arrived we were well received and quickly shown around so we could still join the afternoon game drive. The chalet was good, thatched roof, not very large but cool and clean and we liked the setting in the large garden with beautiful trees. The chalet, over all facilities and dinner were excellent. So was the service. Game drives...

We had a wonderful relaxing weekend in the bushveld. All the staff made us feel very welcome and went out of their way to make our time at the lodge pleasant. There is a lot to do in the area if you want to be out and about or it is just as pleasant to just relax in your room...

It's a bit of a bumpy ride from the nature reserve gate to the lodge, but the route is scenic. Because it is so intimate, Itaga reminded me of a farmhouse although the decor was lovely. Food was ok, not wow. Staff were very friendly and accomodating. We paid extra for a "superior" room which is supposed to come with...

African Buffalos welcomed us when we arrived to Itaga! We just loved Richard the ranger who made our game drives memorable. The food was excellent, rooms nice and service very good. We saw lots of animals including the elephants and crocodiles. This was the third time we visited Itaga (second time in the rooms 7 and 8); we enjoyed our...

Really enjoyed our break over New Years at Itaga. The camp is relatively small, meaning the staff are really on top of things. Staff are young and enthusiastic, and go out of their way. Food is excellent, some of the best I have had in recent years. Decorations are tasteful, I really love the phantom chairs through out the camp....

Service was excellent. We stayed in a superior room and the amenities was average. Food was excellent. Enjoyed the game drives. Pool could improve and wasn't to standard. The personnel was professional and efficient.

Richard was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable. The food choice was limited but always excellent. The chalet type rooms were clean, spacious and well furnished. My only fault I can think of was its distance (8 Kms) from the main road over some very rough tracks , alright for the safari vehicles, but a bit much for a family saloon.

Our family came from the Middle East, Canada, Denmark and South Africa. We had the whole lodge to ourselves. The staff could not have been more accommodating and fun. Henk and Sumine were fantastic. Simon was our favourite he was so personable and made sure we had whatever we needed all the time Game drives were good, because of the...
