After reading the reviews i was very disappointed and at times wondered if i had the right hotel! First off the greeting on arrival was non existent. The room was very small for 3 girls sharing, the bathroom was tiny and the shower must be hand held to avoid flooding the bathroom. I expected basic and the room was very...

I would say that Castro Hotel was really good choice for my family. The hotel is located 10 -15 min. form the wonderful Kamari beach, shops and restaurants. The hotel has a swimming pool. Breakfast was basic but sufficient. The room was clean. Only small turn down was...

Hotel is tidy and clean and the staff are extremely polite and helpful, location wise it's only a few minutes walk to the bus stop to Fira and the open air cinema (I recommend both) and to the centre of Kamari it's about 10/15 minutes which at night can be dark walking back so take a mini torch. It's very...

This was a wonderful little hotel and is definitely worth staying at. Despite having stayed at 4 and 5 * hotels this hotel was absolutely in a league with them in terms of cleanliness, size of rooms, helpfulness of staff, pool and location. Breakfast was lovely and very Mediterranean but extremely delicious. The pool is very quiet and on most...

The room was very comfortable with a double bed (very unusual abroad). The hotel is situated at the back of the resort,a pleasant 10 min stroll into town in a quiet area surrounded by...

Having read great reviews on this site we were so looking forward to staying at the Castro. There were positives in that family members were friendly and polite and you could not fault the cleanliness of the whole hotel and pool area. I appreciate it is a 2 star/budget hotel but felt the single child like beds with minimal bedding...

It is a 10 min lovely walk to the centre but very dark at night, would not recommend for single lady's but fine for groups and couples. A fantastic...
