If this hotel was in Brighton, folk would be praising it- such a quirky place to stay - set over 2 sites with a small pool at each. Lots of stairs so not good if you have serious impaired mobility. Very close to the beach - and what a fabulous beach. Lovely and clean with bed linen and towels changed...

Cluttered dark dingy room, had to request toilet rolls, harsh grey towels, daily cleaning sloppy, made mistake of checking under bed before we left filthy! toilet ran constantly had to turn it off at the valve overnight! Not enough cups and cutlery to service guests at breakfast had to wait while they washed up. This hotel is in need of...

We stayed at the blue sea for one week. On arrival we were offered the choice of two different rooms and were shown both so we could pick ourselves which we thought was a nice touch. The rooms are basic but the same as you would get anywhere in Greece. The air con is free and works fantastically. Breakfast is...

myself and my husband have just had a fantastic two week stay at the blue sea, and there was absolutely nothing we could fault. The standards were excellent, all the staff worked hard. This has been our first visit to Santorini, and it has been a pleasurable experience. The room was kept clean with towels changed every day. The breakfast...

The Blue Sea hotel is undoubtedly cheap, but the standard is poor. Our room was like something out of a 70s horror film. The decor was very tired, with rusting faucets and grimmy bathrooms. The pool was mostly quiet but the water and general pool area was generally quite unsanitary. There was a dead bat by the poolside almost the...

We stayed at Blue Sea for 3 nights as a short break (travelling as a couple). On arrival we learnt that the lady on reception spoke no English at all which left us waiting for the man who spoke English to return. We soon realised why we had to wait as it seemed that he did everything in the hotel,...

Had a lovely time overall. The hotel was basic but clean. We got unlucky with our room (17) which was very small and had neither of the things we requested (double bed, sea view). The shower area was very small and you had the choice of having a shower whilst wrapped in the shower curtain or flooding the bathroom floor....

Just back from a week in the Blue Sea on a HB basis. Pros: The hotel is small, looks nice and has a very nice pool (warm) area. It's a short walk to the beach/front. The half board evening meal was actually in restaurant called Atmosphere on the beach and was very nice food, but probably limited for more than...
