Globales Cala'n Bosch has earned positive remarks for its cleanliness and daily housekeeping, despite occasional breakfast hiccups. Its location garners praise for the scenic proximity to the beach and marina. While the hotel's atmosphere is considered vibrant, with music and entertainment, it may be too loud for some. Amenities like the clean pools enhance guests' stays, but Wi-Fi and bar service have room for improvement. Opinions on the rooms vary, with some finding them satisfactory and others suggesting upgrades. The staff's friendliness stands out, though the hotel's value is questioned due to food and space concerns.

This hotel has so much going for it.
Location cleanliness,The staff on the whole always have a smile on their faces and attempt to communicate in all languages.
With children in mind the Bravo crew ( mostly Italian and French) will include all as they approached us every day to say hello and include us in all events around the pool and games etc if we wanted to.
Restaurants
Because the hotel is trying to feed everyone in the hotel plus the Marina apartments the original dining room is not really big enough to cope.
Breakfast and dinner can involve shortages as staff struggle to replenish food trays.
Quality on the whole is ok but nothing special, lunch time is far better as their less rushed.
Bars and drinks
Pool bar is relaxed and main hotel bar has plenty of staff with a maximum of two drinks per person (which I like as it keeps queues down) and there was eight of us.
Sorry ladies there’s no mojitos or pina coladas included in cocktails unless you pay for them.
Most shorts and beer are passable but only just nothing jumps out as decent.
Entertainment
Bravo crew are ok during the day but nightly shows are poor.
Other guests
35% British 25% Italian 25% French 15% Spanish generally a nice easy going mix of people.
To sum up
This is a spectacular location by the beach and next to the harbour it can’t be beaten.
For its downfalls it’s still brilliant as a base in Minorca.
We enjoyed it and for the £350 we paid we would have paid more and would return in an instant.

Firstly, the hotel is split between the main building and apartments across the road. This wasn't made clear to us by TUI on booking but we wouldn't have minded either way. Sadly, in the main building we did have a view of the car park which was quite noisy but we hadn't specified any particular view on booking so nobody's fault. The room itself was lovely, however there was a kettle which seemed pointless as there was nothing else to go with it (tea coffee etc). One thing I did notice was that although the housekeepers came in daily on request, the bedsheets weren't changed at all in the whole week we were there (just turned inside out and upside down), nothing we felt needed to be mentioned at the time but worth noting. We needed extra pillows which were in our room straight away. Food was good, a couple of days where it got a bit same-y but there were a lot of people to feed and probably more to do with our personal taste than anything. Perhaps staggered mealtimes or offering self catering to the apartments instead could work as it was absolutely packed and the staff seemed to struggle with limited seating. The tables were cleared quickly if you were waiting although I noticed the floors weren't swept regularly until the end of service which if you are seated after a large party could be off-putting. We particularly enjoyed the Spanish theme night where I introduced my husband to proper Iberico ham, I think the hotel could do more of this and it had all gone by 8.30 so not great for later diners. The coffee machines were very limited (mainly switched off at night) so you couldn't get a hot drink after dinner with dessert for example unless you went to the bar.
As a couple I can't comment on kids facilities other than to say it was very loud!!! But all the kids seemed to enjoy it so job done if you have a family. The bar was shut by around midnight too so didn't ruin anyone's sleep unless you need an early night. If you wanted a later night there are plenty of bars in the marina.
I don't drink but my husband enjoyed the selection of beer and wine on all inclusive. I think he'd had enough after a week though! There was only one mocktail on the all Inc (ok for just the one, very sickly) and the non alcoholic beer was around €2 for a small glass from the lobby bar only so we got some from the supermarket nearby for around 80c instead. There is a small fridge in the room for this and anything you might buy outside the hotel.
Beach, I didn't go to but my husband enjoyed the snorkelling. It isn't hotel owned so you have to pay for beds and umbrellas (I think it was €25 for two beds and an umbrella). If you want beach towels from reception they are €10 cash each which is refundable at the end of your stay. There was plenty of room on the beach if you don't mind sticking a few towels down but a bit of a trek back up to the hotel bar if you want a drink.
We really enjoyed it and probably would come back again but maybe in a quieter time of year.

My husband and I spent 10 days at this hotel we have no complaints at cleanliness or staff. The hotel was spotless the staff amazing and they worked very hard to make sure the holiday was a success the food was good lots of choice and although the Bravo Club entertainment was not for us they worked extremely hard to entertain everyone. My one annoyance is that the hotel refused to provide a late checkout saying due to covid the rooms wil need disinfecting after we vacate which we accepted we then asked for use of the curtesy room but again told no due to covid.
The checkout time was 11am we were going picked up more than 5 hours after that at 16:20 . Given that it was 32 degrees we like many others chose to sit by and use the pool when it was time to get ready to go we got changed in the toilets while others got changed in the hotel lounge.
I had contacted TUI and asked for their advice but was told they couldn’t offer any help as it was down to the hotel but said that they hadn’t heard of any other hotels not offering a late checkout or use of a curtesy room

Cons:
No free water in the room (apart from 2 small bottles offered the first day)

Not allowed to fill-in water bottles

No mojitos in the "all inclusive" plan (not even made with white lable rum)

Bad drinks overall not tasting at all as the originals more like syrup.

Small beds

No decoration at all in dinning hall (4 stars hotel) - cheap plastic chairs

Not welcoming reception. They asked me to pay the whole stay upon arriving, even though it was already paid.

Night show with ads (yes I'm not joking)

Italian animation team with Italian as main language and barely any English

Tours info in Italian only, in the reception they could not provide with any info, asking me to check their website, which has no tour info.

In order to change the offered beach towels they charge 10€ ("all inclusive" plan)

No sunbeds as shown in hotel pics.

Pros:
Location (near the city marina)

Spacious Beach with clean water

Restaurant service

Beach umbrella free at the reception

Free Wi-Fi

Globales Cala'n Bosch, July 2022 all inclusive.
Never felt the need to write a review before but this hotel was quite poor as far as our rooms went and the management didn't really seem bothered that we had been given a tiny noisy room when we specifically asked for a quiet room when we booked it in 2021.
This is how we found our rooms.
If you dont mind squeezing into a room which was the size of a single room with a double bed put in, don't mind living out of your suitcases because there is not enough storage and like to listen to the "Bravo club" which is the Italian entertainment team at full volume all day until 11.30 at night then book room B11 on ground floor.
This was the room we were allocated until we were moved after 3 nights.
We complained to the manager and Tui rep on the first day but they wouldn't move us until the third day and after being told by our Tui Rep we would get a room at a higher level we were given room B3 which was larger than B11 but again on the ground floor not far from reception.
The noise from reception went on until 1.00am some nights with people talking and shouting at the top of their voices and slamming doors. The reception obviously were not bothered that some people like to get to sleep before this time as they did nothing to stop it.
So if you think you'll have an early night so you can get up early to do a bit of travelling about forget it in these ground floor rooms it's impossible.
Food was ok but there was queing into the reception a few times and it did resemble a cattle market.
There was the usual "get as much on your plates cause its free" holidaymakers there but that's probably in every hotel with all inclusive.
Quite a few nights we eat out in the marina which is good or got the bus to Cuitadella which is a lovely town.
Drinks were limited with most cocktails extra and they were not like you would get in the marina even though you paid for them.
We only used the beach bar once when we came off the beach because again you are forced to listen to the "Bravo Club" with what is probably the loudest hotel entertainment in the resort.
The alternative was the inside bar which did not have a lot of atmosphere.
We will be going self catering or b&b in the future but I would not consider this hotels even doing that as our experience was unfortunately so disappointing with the rooms.
There are plenty of nice hotels to stop in at Cala'n Bosch and I would recommend stopping in one of those.

Firstly the 50 minute transfer was an hour and a half. Check in at hotel was a tad chaotic as it seems several flight arrived at same time. Reception staff were very friendly and soon gave us our room in hotel. Room was clean plenty of hangers and we also hired a safe @ 32.00 plus 10 euros refunded on departure. Also the Spanish tax was 46.20 euros for two.
Hotel was clean, meals were fine always something you could find to eat. Sometimes there was quite a queue to get in. Bar was also busy at times only ever two serving, sometimes just the one. Staff were pleasant and soon got through the queue. Poolside bar opened at 10am then shut 1pm till about 3ish, so you just had to go in hotel for drinks.
The hotel itself has a fantastic setting, pool overlooks the beautiful white sandy cove and a quick stroll down and you’re in the clear blue sea.
Animation team were only speaking Italian French and Spanish whilst we were there. They totally ignored the UK visitors with white wrist bands (with the exception of Alexandro who did speak to us), if you were on sunbeds between Italian (orange wristband) or French (orange and white wristband) you could expect the Bravo Animation to stop and chat to them and completely blank you! Extremely ignorant !!,
3 nights have guest entertainment which was good, rest is put on by the Bravo team - dance routines, sketches (all spoken in Italian only) and mime. I must say some of the dancing was very good but sketches were no good as couldn’t understand them.
Marina just down the road was lovely, plenty restaurants and bars with entertainment.
All in all enjoyed our stay, but hotel needs to decide if it wishes to keep UK visitors and if so bring in their own team that cater for all the guests.

Stayed for 10 days in August 2022 with 5 adults and 2 kids age 4 and 5. The hotel was very clean and in a perfect location with the beautiful beach a few steps away and Marina a 5 minute walk. All sunbeds were 'reserved' with towels by about 7.30-8am and there wasnt enough sunbeds around the kids pool, despite there being enough space for more. Tui advertise the buffet restaurant as having 'kid-friendly stations' but this definitely wasn't the case. The food was more or less the same every day so we ate out a few times. There was nothing much to cater for children, not even a chicken nugget which I would have expected at least for one or two evenings. The 'snacks' which are advertised are basically the left overs from breakfast/lunch etc. The entertainment team worked really hard, but they were an Italian crew so the kids couldnt understand it, they seemed to enjoy some of it though. If Tui had been up front about the entertainment not being in English, I probably wouldn't have chosen this hotel. We enjoyed the holiday overall despite my grumblings, however I think the hotel can get away with these points due to the location .

We have just got back from a 7 night stay and 7 nights was definitely enough. The hotel is in a really good location with it being a few steps from a beautiful beach with white sand and crystal clear blue water. The hotel is also in walking distance from lots of nice bars and restaurants. Be warned you will have to pay tourist tax which I think was €46. We have no idea what this was for or why tui didn’t mention this would need to be paid upon arrival.

I definitely think the hotel needs to add more decor to their rooms. Another Globales hotel I stayed in previously was far more modern and lots of pleasing decor which made the room feel nicer. Our hotel room was cleaned every single day of our stay. I also expected something complimentary like mini shower gel and body lotion etc as I had this in the other Globales hotel I stayed in but perhaps it differs from hotel to hotel. I have also seen a few people were given a bottle of bubbly on the last night of their stay, we didn’t receive this.

The food was your average all inclusive food and there’s something for everyone and won’t go hungry. Drinks weren’t too bad.

It was very much like spot the English person at this hotel. Most of the guests were either french or Italian and the entertainment was very much aimed at them. We struggled to watch and enjoy the entertainment as we couldn’t understand what they were saying or what was going on. Whether or not it would have been different before covid I have no idea.

We won’t be returning to this hotel but not because we didn’t enjoy our stay but because Menorca is a very small island and we did everything we could have to explore on the island in the 7 days we were there so we won’t be returning to Menorca.

Overall the hotel could definitely do with a few improvements but we did enjoy our stay.

We stayed in the apartments just a short walk away from the hotel for 10 days All Inclusive. Absolutely no complaints, I travelled with my husband and adult son (21) so the 2 bedroom apartment was perfect for us. We arrived late and food was available for us when we got there, which was good.

The 2 pools next to the apartments were lovely, and no music which was lovely and peaceful. The pool bar does close at 6pm and no snacks here.... they were available at the hotel, but never needed them as stuck to our 3 meals a day

The food was varied and plentiful, the rooms very clean and spacious, and the situation of the hotel, is brilliant as it's close to a nice sandy beach, the mariner is just around the corner, the bus stop is close too and just a short ride to Cuitadella (just over 2 euros each way) The coastal path leads to other beaches and small coves which was lovely, One day we walked to Cala Blanca in the opposite direction (5 1/2 miles) and got a taxi back for around £15 euros.

As others have commented the entertainment wasn't in English, but this didn't really worry us, preferring instead to have a stroll and a drink in the Marina most evenings.

My only criticism is that we weren't provided with much information about the hotel facilities. For instance I wouldn't have known that you could hire towels for 10 euros (refundable) if I hadn't read it in here on a previous review. The hotel also offer early breakfasts for early transfers, but again lots of guests weren't aware of this (I asked my TUI Rep) An information brochure in the room would have been welcome.

We had an excellent stay. The cleanliness of the hotel was of the first degree with housekeeping providing clean towels and bedding each day. The food was excellent with plenty of variety.
The many pools and sunbeds available made the lazy days by the pool idyllic.
Friendly attentive staff at all times. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel and resort. The hotel is situated close to the harbor and bars which make for evenings of live entertainment and good company.
