Pete and Gaye run a very laid back b&b. The rooms are homely and the bathroom we had down the corridor was large and clean. Breakfast was freshly cooked - no eggs and bacon but home baked muffins. Gaye sat with us and chatted over breakfast which was nice. This is an ideal spot for families as Pete runs a...

A wonderful farm stay. Pete and Gaye are great host. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious. We enjoy the farm tour very much especially with the Alpacas. You can go to the farm to play with the animals anytime you like, just remember to lock the fence properly so they won't run away. The breakfast is simple and adequate...

We have been in New Zealand around a year already and staying at Pete's Farm was one of the highlights for the year! Peter and Gaya were so gracious, and the tour of the farm was awesome! You can go and pet the sheep and alpacas anytime you like. The cottage was beautifully clean and tidy. Great breakfast. We'll be...

We stayed our first two nights in NZL at Pete's Farm Stay and totally loved it. Our kids (3 & 5 yrs) enjoyed the sheep shearing and the alpaca feeding a lot and didn't actually want to leave. Thanks Gaye & Pete. We'd love to come back one day.

We stayed at Pete's for our first night in New Zealand upon landing at Christchurch. Pete's was wonderful! Super friendly guy who showed us around upon arrival. The kids bounced on the mega trampoline after being cooped up on a plane for 10 hours, and loved the rest of the playground that was on site. Most of us (group of...

We stayed at Pete's place with our young family and it was such a lovely taste of NZ farm life. A beautiful and peaceful location and the kids loved the farm animals and playground. We even got to see a live Alpaca birth! The cottage we stayed in was very clean and had plenty of space for the 4 of...

We booked two nights at Pete's to enable us to explore the area and we could have easily stayed longer. Our hosts Gaye & Pete were amazing nothing too much trouble and the farm a must do with young children, feeding sheep, the alpacas were really interesting with a new baby only hours old after our arrival so some amazing...

Stayed for 2 nights at the farm at the end of our New Zeland trip on 7th & 8th Jan 17. We reached at 4 in the evening, it was drizzling which made the enviornment even more enchanting. It is a 80 acre farm with 150 sheep and 19 alpacas. Peter and Gaye, owners are very hospitable. Feeding the alpacas...

On our New Zealand adventure, our family tried to have a variety of lodging selections so a short farmstay seemed like a good choice. Being located near Rangiora and Christchurch, Pete's Farm Stay is a perfect place to take a break and breathe in the country. Pete and Gaye are wonderful hosts and the animals are so much fun to...

Pete and Gaye were wonderful hosts. They were warm, friendly, generous and gracious. Shortly after checking-in, Pete took us on a farm tour which we thoroughly enjoyed, and gave us what we consider the rare opportunity to go up close to the lamb, sheep and alpacas, to feed and hug them. We loved being that close to the animals, and...
