Very friendly employees, willing to hold my luggage before check-in, shared kitchen and lounge was spacious and convenient. The view from the deck was lovely. Rooms are clean and comfortable although some noise was heard from the neighboring room. Location within the village was great, staff suggestions were valuable. I recommend the lodge to others.

This hotel had decent rooms with a nice view. However the rooms were really loud. We spent 2 nights here. The rooms are downstairs with the meeting room upstairs. So there was noise from upstairs relatively early to late at Night. Also anyone talking outside of your door you could clearly hear all the words so the doors were pretty...

This is a quaint lodge which has a terrific view of Mt. Cook. The first picture shown here is for the Mueller Backpacking Hut and it is not affiliated with this lodge. The remaining pictures are accurate. That being said, the rooms are simple and lightly furnished. The rooms were comfortable except there were only two power outlets in the...

My family group of four adults recently stayed at the Lodge for two nights. We were fortunate to have good weather for the first 24 hours we were there so my brother in-law spent most of the first evening sitting out on the verandah with his camera, taking multiple shots of Mount Cook as the sun set. The kitchen was...

Hello, Thanks for the great review. The lounge and deck are some of the best places in the village for the ever changing mountain views. Kind regards, Mary Malcolm Manager

Location is good, we really can see the view of the snowy mountains from the lounge, kitchen facilities are very good, rooms are clean and comfortable, however the wifi limit is too little for the four of us, we're used up all the limit in several hours only.

Like many other reviewers said, the lodge has a fantastic view of Mt.Cook, even from a ground-floor room. It's located very close to the Hermitage hotel which is the check-in place for Mt.Cook's Glacier Explorers. The room was a bit small but comfortable and the amenities were sufficient.

The Lodge has a wonderful view of Mt Cook. The lounge is spacious and very comfortable and can cater for very large groups. The kitchen facilities are great with 3 cooking stations and a couple of fridges. Our rooms were very comfortable and the shower/vanity/wc very accessable. Would recommend for a stay.

We stayed two nights in an ensuite room which had two twin beds and a double decker bed. The room is really very small especially if you have luggage cases and we only had two sleeping in the room. Though there are separate bath and toilet sections, the shower cubicle is one of those tiny triangular glass enclosures which is...

Hello, thanks for reviewing our lodge. I just want to point out that we recommend the family rooms for 2 adults and 2 young children, or 3 adults. The rooms are not large but they are economical for families. The photos give an accurate size. Kind regards, Mary Malcolm, Manager

We stayed a night at the Lodge while on a road trip around New Zealand. It is perfectly placed to explore the mountains and visit the Hermitage and Edmund Hillary's centre. The room is a good size and other cooking and eating arrangements are in a communal room. The views from the communal room (and from our room window) are...

Thanks for reviewing us. We are pleased you had a nice time in Aoraki/Mt Cook. With our guest kitchen, there is often a selection of international foods being cooked, so everyone can cook what they like to eat. Part of the fun. Kind regards, Mary Malcolm Manager

Great Views all around and very close to the glaciers i stayed at the alpine lodge it was clean and tidy. But i would recommend bringing your own food to cook as there is very little choice for places to eat.
