We booked our room at the lodge as it was the only hotel with availability once we got around to scheduling our trip to Mt. Cook. We therefore paid what I think is a luxury hotel price for a mid-level hotel. But beggars can't be...More
位置就在hermitage hotel 和游客中心旁。參加活動和去行山都很方便，值得推薦。
The facilities are basic but clean and comfortable. They have a great communal kitchen with almost every facilities and utensils but of course you have to bring your own food. There is no supermarket nearby but they have a small food...More
It's absolutely amazing place to visit.
The room is warm to stay even it's bit old . Walking distance to hooker valley walk and tasman glacier walk.
You can touch the snow just open the back door of the room.

Yes, there is definitely one other place (Mountaineers Cafe), and I think one more. However, those are the ONLY options for everyone, so reservations are important. But this lodge also has a kitchen so you can make your own food too. It's accessible to the track, but it will add about an hour onto your journey.
