We stayed in adjoining rooms which accommodated our family of 4 comfortably. The views from our beds were amazing even though we were on the ground floor. The communal area upstairs where a great addition and a perfect spot to watch the sunrise with a cuppa. The staff at reception where great and helpful. I recommend a walk through the...

The kitchenette room that we stayed in had everything that we needed for a short stay. The Lodge isn't a hotel, but I liked it more for that. The staff were friendly and helpful and we would definitely go back if we ever get the chance to visit this stunning location again.

We stayed for one night and found the lodge to be comfortable and clean. The staff were very helpful and had great knowledge of the area. The lodge has a full kitchen for your own private use with utensils provided for cooking however, be sure to take your groceries with you! We shopped at Twizel first! Whilst there isn't a...

We,family of four stayed upstairs in 2 rooms, one with the mountain view. Cozy clean warmth place throughout and excellent communal kitchen and lounge. Stunning views of snow capped mountains and part of the Hooker Valley and Mt Cook. Nestled strategically up the village and nearby the Visitor Centre. Most pleasant and memorable stay.

It really wasn't what we expected, it's in need of a good make over and brought up to standard, bedroom was extremely small and if you were showering it is a challenge not to be seen. The staff are pleasant but possibly embarrassed re the facilities, I think it would be ok for younger people who don't seem to mind...

We stayed for one night on our way to Queenstown. It's in the midst of the Mt Cook area which makes it very convenient to explore the nearby hiking trails, etc. The lodge's small parking lot was full, but there were plenty of spaces in the nearby visitor's center. The room is very small for 4 people. Basically it only...

Hello, thankyou for your review. You booked our "bunk room". We do advertise this room as a backpacker type room and warm that it is compact. We are pleased that you enjoyed the lounge and our view. Thanks for staying with us. Kind regards. Mary, Verena, Alice & Laura

It is very well located... The bedrooms are OK... Not so good for those who have back problems but despite of that, it is worthy... People who work in the lodge are great and helpful... There is no breakfast or dinner there but there are restaurants nearby...
