We stayed two nights in a self-contained motel unit. Compared to other similar accommodation throughout the two islands I found this very expensive. I suppose you are paying for being within easy driving distance of Mount Cook (similar accommodation in the village was fully booked). However, this was probably the poorest value for money that we experienced on our whole...

Stayed here for two nights when visiting mt cook national park. Really surprised at the quality of the dorm accommodation which was spotless and very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed and again was really clean. I'd definitely recommend staying here and would stay again

We stayed in a powered unit for campervan. There were still plenty of spaces available at height.of summer season. Nice communal cooking, cleaning and Laundry facilities with a game room and TV for kids when weather is bad.

This was a very nice Campervan site with powered sites & awesome views of the mountains & lake. Amenities were first class with plenty of hot water in the showers. The only drawback was the cafe closes at 6.00pm & the closest cafes/restuarants are 25 minutes away at Mt Cook village.

We stayed just one brief night at Glentanner, but enjoyed the experience. The staff were very helpful, arranging a late check-in for us when we arrived after hours. The cabin was comfortable and shower facilities adequate. The real charm is the location: fantastic views and a stone's throw (5-minute drive) from the start of many tracks in Mount Cook national...

Near to Mt Cook village, this is a quiet but very scenic holiday park. Helpful staff and great communal lounge but some more modern and larger bathroom and kitchen facilites would be helpful though...

Great camp site with amazing views of Mt Cook and Lake Pukaki. Good facilities and friendly staff. Good base for walking at Mt Cook and glaciers. Would recommend to friends and family for camping and experiencing wild NZ without the crowds. Looking forward to a return visit

Dorm rooms were nice but often got left unlocked as they don't lock automatically. Kitchen was large, well stocked, and the cleanest hostel kitchen I've ever seen. Only downsides are that it is hard to get to if you don't have your own car and is fairly expensive. Also the staff were not overly friendly when I was there. Overall...

We found the campsite and management really dog friendly. Our dog enjoyed meeting Russell, the resident dog. There were plenty of rabbits to chase and a lovely area to exercise him in down by the lake. The amenities are very good and it's very clean. Definitely recommend this for dog travelers but remember you can't take your dog into Mount...
