We stayed in Cabin 6 for one night. The weather was cold but sunny so we had amazing views of the mountains, and of the stars and Milky Way at night. So bright. Only 20 mins drive to Mt Cook village. We brought our own supplies. Cabin has trees in front of the window, you get some view from one...

Great location. Good views of Mount Cook from our room but the room itself was tired and anywhere else would have cost a lot less but I guess that's what you pay for a view. 15 mins drive back to Mt Cook village for dinner but the views were far better than in the village.

Me and my girlfriend stayed here for 2 nights in the basic unit room. The good points: The room is basic and clean with a comfy bed and heating, so pretty good in that respect. The views of Mount Cook and it's neighbouring mountains from anywhere in the vicinity of the site are stunning. The bad points: The WIFI is...

Nice location with great views of mount cook. facilities are nice and well cared for. The only drew back is that there was no place to purchase food or other necessities. So plan ahead and stop before heading in to the park.

Dorms are nice and warm with their own toilet. Communal area has everything you need, nothing fancy. Only 30mins free wifi but you can purchase more. 5min walk to the lake. About a 35 min drive to Mt Cook, but its such a scenic drive that I didnt mind driving there a couple of times. At $40, it was the most...

The campground was great. We stayed in a tent at a non-powered site, we were free to choose where we wanted to stay so were able to find a spot away from other tents. The facilities were fantastic, all clean and well kept. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, plates ect. and plenty of stove tops to cook...

Stopped here for lunch and to look at the brochures about taking a helicopter ride. We ordered our lunch and sat outside in a lovely wee courtyard area to enjoy the views. The coffee arrived way before anything else. The soup took so long that we sat there and went through the order to check that we had been charged...

I'm sorry for your disappointing experience in The Tasman Delta Cafe. We are not in charge of the Cafe here, so please redirect your review to The Helicopter Line, who is running the Cafe currently.

There was a lot of bugs in the bathroom. It is wild country after all, but I've never seen so many mosquitos in a sink. The facilities are basic, but the price isn't. The views however are what you pay for.

Hello Unfortunately you are right, with our rural location are coming a lot of bugs attracted by open doors and switch on lights in the facilities. We are cleaning them first thing in the morning, but you must be a early riser, if you have encountered these uninvited visitors. Usually our staff is out there at 7am.

We booked 2 nights here as apart of our 2 week trip around the south island. We arrived at 1pm from Christchurch- the checkin was seamless and we were directed to our room. Which is abit of a drive from the main building along a short dirt road. The room itself was very well appointed- with a king bed, a...

“Basic Cabin is the best and closest to bathroom and kitchen. Good enough for 1 night stay unless you plan for hiking. No soap/ shower cream given. It is far from town so you need to bring your own food but there is cafe at reception during day time.”
