Where do we start. Great location, great accommodation, great hosts. The management has recently changed and they really did everything to make us feel welcome. The units are bigger than most and very cosy. It's close to everything and just a great place to stay. We ended up staying for a look around before heading to Queenstown and so glad...

A great couple of night's sleep in an inviting, clean room that met all of our needs. Lovely staff too - would definitely recommend staying here. I left feeling well rested and relaxed, I'll be coming back for sure.

To be fair to this little country motel I think some of the comments are very harsh after all your only paying $130 a night. I would call it very cosy and warm. It was a very wet and freezing cold night but with the tiny electric heater and electric blankets on it was very snug and we had an...

This is a great little standard motel situated in a spot that's great for breaking up a cross country drive. We were late arriving (check in closes at 2000) but the manager left us what we needed. All clean as you'd expect.

Motel is older 70's style and set back from the main street, so is quiet. I think we must have arrived at dinner time, because we got short shrift at Reception and didn't feel welcome. Inside is fairly spacious but not well maintained; not a single light bulb worked in the living area of our unit, but Reception had closed...

The motel itself was clean and spacious, check in was relatively casual and easy. Unfortunately there was only one restaurant opened during our stay, and the town was empty with not much to do. Lake Tekapo isnt too far away, i recommend staying there instead.

The office only opens from 8-10am and 2-4pm. I called and left a message, emailed but no reply or return call. It's very inconvenient that the staff are not contactable out of these hrs. The lady at reception was very keen to get on with her job and didn't seem very friendly. Kitchen needs updating. The hair dryer, one electric...

This was the last stop before we head back to Christchurch. Outside might seem like it is not tidy but inside it's cosy. Feels like home. It's clean from bedroom to kitchen and toilet. Although don't expect high standard cause it's like outdated motel. And there's ni hairdryer but don't know if can borrow from the office didn't bother since...
