Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A really nice B&B, in a beautiful, peaceful spot. Very nice house and room. Fabulous breakfast, including delicious homemade bread and jams. The icing on the cake was the charming couple who own it, who are not only friendly and helpful, but they actually seem to enjoy looking after their guests. I couldn't fault anything about this B&B. Up Mayo.

We had a fabulous stay at Cornerstones and found Eithna and Sean to be lovely people. The room we had was spotless as was the rest of the property and the views from the room were sensational.
The Breakfast both mornings was perfect with a special dish each morning...the waffles with fresh fruit and maple syrup were to die for. We were made to feel really special and Eithna's knowledge of the area and activities made it easy for us to make the most of our stay. Kylemore Abbey is certainly one place that you shouldn't miss. We would certainly recommend Cornerstones to anyone looking for somewhere special and make sure you stay for a couple of nights to explore the area.

We stayed at 4 different B&Bs and Corernstones B&B had the most beautiful setting. you could not beat this scenery. Our hosts, Eithna and Sean Horan recommended some local attractions ... one was not on our list and we were so grateful that they suggested the skyroad loop and Kylemore Abbey. just amazing. accommodations at Cornerstones was fabulous and breakfast was excellent. highly recommend this B&B!

This B&B is well situated with spectacular views. The rooms are spotless and of a good size, and the beds are very comfortable. We were provided with tea and home made cakes upon arrival, which were delicious, and we guessed the breakfast would be just as good. We were not disappointed! A good selection, cooked to order, and with homemade jams/marmalades which were yummy. This is an excellent B&B, providing good quality for a reasonable cost. If anyone is looking for good value pub food then the Veldon in Letterfrack is perfect - just gets a little busy!

Staying at cornerstones completely changed my idea of what staying in a Bnb could be like. The hosts Sean and eithna were more like caring, concerned relatives than bnb proprieters. Everything was spick and span and the breakfast in the morning was so yummy that it had me wishing I could sample some of eithnas cooking at dinner time!!! Best hosts ever!

If this had been the first of my seven Irish B&Bs, the rest would have been very disappointing. As it was, Cornerstones was simply the best in every way.
Eithna and Sean Horan are gracious and helpful hosts. One feels completely welcome and at home at this B&B.
Each of the rooms (I was able to see four of them) is beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. The beds are grand. It is tempting to stay up late to enjoy a wood fire in the beautiful guests' sitting room.
Eithna provides the breakfast of one's choice complete with her delicious home baked breads and scones, and fresh fruit artfully arranged.
Cornerstones is close to Clifden and many places of interest. Next trip I will allow the time to spend a day "at home" to enjoy the garden and nearby walks.
I joined Trip Advisor specifically to write about this outstanding B&B, where I will certainly return.

This beautiful B&B is in a quiet location between Clifden and Letterfrack. Our room was upstairs with a lovely view out towards the water. The room was spotless and the decor beautiful. The attention to detail was evident. The room was spacious and due to very lousy weather, I spent a lot of time just relaxing on the windowseat enjoying the surrounds. We were very spoilt at breakfast with not only delicious hot food but also warm homemade scones and bread with homemade jam. (I bought a jar of jam to take away with me it was so good.) Our hosts, Eithna and Sean were lovely. We highly recommend this B&B to other travellers.

This B&B was very comfortable and clean. The takeaway for me was how detail oriented the owners were starting with the information guide in the room. Breakfast was the best we have had and this was our fourth b&b. The homemade scones and homemade jams were delicious and the Connemara Salmon with pineapple and melon was scrumptious. The owners both were very hospitable and friendly.

Very beautiful location with clean rooms, good breakfast and very accommodating hosts! Our family arrived late on our first night and had to head out early upon checkout. They made sure we left with full bellies on time!

Location is very close to both Kylemore Abbey and the Connemara National Park, must sees in Connemara!

We cannot say enough good things about our stay at Cornerstones!
