Our stay here was very comfortable. The room had all the modern amenities, the hostess was very friendly and gave several good suggestions of places to visit. The breakfast was wonderful, with a large variety of food and selections, many of which were home made. I would certainly recommend this to anyone staying in the area.
We spent 5 nights in this B&B near Clifden. We really appreciated the kindness of Eithna et Sean who made everything to make our life easier with our baby. Breakfasts were delicious and the room so clean ! Thank you for all ! Émeline & Anthony
We stayed at 4 different B&Bs and Corernstones B&B had the most beautiful setting. you could not beat this scenery. Our hosts, Eithna and Sean Horan recommended some local attractions ... one was not on our list and we were so grateful that they suggested the skyroad loop and Kylemore Abbey. just amazing. accommodations at Cornerstones was fabulous and breakfast was excellent. highly recommend this B&B!
We got a great welcome from Eithna who recommended sites to visit, walks and places to eat. The view from the house is stunning. The room was a nice size and very well presented. There were very thoughtful touches throughout the house. For some people the bed may have been a little soft. The house is just (400m) off the main road and it is still really convenient for Letterfrack where there are services including a supermarket and places eat. Clifden and Cleggan are also within half an hour. Breakfast was delicious: Home made jams, scones, nice selection of cereals and fruits. There was a nice range of cooked food including today's special - banana pancakes which looked lovely. This is a lovely b&b and good value for money. We would stay again and recommend it to anyone travelling to this area.…
My wife and myself travelled to Ireland on a touring holiday in June/July 2019 and stayed at Cornerstones for 5 nights. What a brilliant stay in this beautiful house with its lovely grounds, superb views and ideal parking! We were met at the door by the lady host, Eithna, and received a really warm welcome. Our en suite bedroom was absolutely lovely, with tea/coffee making facilities and the full Irish breakfast was superb. We enjoyed five brilliant nights of excellent Irish hospitality, with plenty of good-humoured banter with Eithna - to the extent that we felt we had known her for years. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts, who went out of their way to make our stay a memorable one and, crucially, made a point of spending time with us when this was necessary. We have visited Ireland several times before and we can honestly say that this was one of the best B & Bs we have ever stayed at.We were very sorry to leave, though before we did, we bought several jars of Eithna's homemade jam and certainly did not regret this when we tucked into it on our return home.…
