I was impressed by this hotel. The staff was really helpful and the facilities were very nice. The breakfast buffet had a bit of everything, and all the food was very fresh. I found my beds to be very comfortable, and the bathroom was clean. All-in-all, much better than, what we would expect from a smallish city. I didn't have a chance to use the pool, but I did have a change to walk around the grounds, which were nice. I'd definitely stay here again if I every travelled to Zigong again.

I'll start this by saying that I'm pretty much unable to stay in a 5* or take a tour in any country but China :) We were really impressed by this hotel. They had a great bathroom and the staff were really helpful. We enjoyed our stay here a lot. The room was comfortable, and had a nice seating area. We didn't spend all that much time in the hotel, but it was really well located for the lantern festival.

I am unsure why this hotel has received good reviews. We, myself and my family, have had to change rooms four times. We are not terribly fussy people however when water starts pouring out of the hotels light fittings it's somewhat worrying. The staff didn't really seem to be as concerned as us about this when we told them it could cause the building to burn down. In my sisters room the air conditioner broke during the night and the room was extremely hot, when we told them at the desk they said it was because we didn't have the card in the card slot. Hmm well the electricity was working as the card was in the slot so I really don't think this was the issue. All the rooms smell of damp and there is water damage near the bathroom walls and all around the leaking air conditioners, not to mention the smell of cigarettes in everything. Last of all the hotel lobby bar doesn't serve anything except for tea and beer regardless of what's on the extensive menu. They have a fully stocked bar however they can't or won't give you anything from it. Is it just all too difficult? A gin and tonic isn't that hard to make, I will even show you how to do it. All this said, I highly doubt there's anywhere better to stay in Zigong.

Great hotel in Zigong. This was a nice hotel after a long trip for us. What a relief! The breakfast buffet had a bit of everything, food was pretty good. Beds were comfortable, showers were clean. All in all, much better than, what we would expect from a smallish city. The pool looked amazing from pictures though we didn't get to use it. Fitness area had a good range of machines and weights. We're definitely staying here if we ever come back!

After a quite difficult bus journey, this hotel was a blessed relief! The staff were very friendly (and had excellent English), the rooms were very good, and the beds easily the most comfortable we came across during our trip in China. The restaurant does a good buffet dinner, and the wait staff were a little confused when we ordered from the menu. The food we ordered was very good, and the buffet breakfast the next morning offered a good range of food - even for a VERY fussy ten year old boy. We didn't have a chance to use the pool or grounds during our stay, due to the weather, but were happy with the hotel overall. We'd definitely stay here again.
