I traveled solo for ten days through the Oaxacan Coast this past August (2008) and I decided at the last minute to stay at Casa Pan de Miel based on an review I read in Concierge.com. Anne was able to accommodate me last minute and I couldn't have been happier to have discovered this gem of a place. Not only...

My husband and I stayed at casa pan de miel for 5 nights in Aug. 08. The welcome by Anne and her team was amazing. You felt right at home from the beginning. They weren't too imposing, didn't chat too much and were always there to give us a hand or answer a question. The hotel is really unique, nestled...

I would rather speak w/ the owner of Casa Pan de Miel, Ann Gillett (she was in Paris while we were at the casa) than to write this review. Unfortunately the phone reception is bad on the coast of Oaxaca and it's hard to get through to the casa (we've tried calling several times). I want to first say that...

We booked a 4 night stay at Casa Pan de Miel for our big "treat" to end our holiday in Oaxaca. The huge palapa and pool area are truly beautiful and the view is lovely. The two people we met, Pascal and Ann were very welcoming. However, the room we were shown was like any generic motel room anywhere in...

My husband and I just spent a relaxing 4 days at Casa Pan De Miel, topping off a 3 week stay in the State of Oaxaca. No detail has been overlooked in the creation of this special place. Beautiful art decorates the rooms, lush towels in the bathroom, comfortable beds, a beautiful pool perched above the ocean with a spectacular view...

Just returned. The hotel was beautiful. The owner, Anna was so nice, and paid attention to every detail to make our stay a memorable one that we will not soon forget. Location was ideal for exploring the surrounding beaches, and the breakfast was delicious and a great start. The views were inspirational for any endeavor- creative or spiritual. Ric&Nanette Garcia

On our second stay at Casa Pan de Miel we were lucky enough to be celebrating a friend's 40th birthday and managed to secure 4 of the 5 rooms for our group. I can honestly say there is nothing that has been overlooked by Anne and her staff. Everything was a true delight!

Ann Gillett has achieved the perfect balance. This is a very comfortable place to stay on a part of the Oaxaca coast unspoilt by development. Most of the accomodation around here is of the beach-cabana type. There are those of us of a certain age who are happy with that, but appreciate a little more comfort sometimes; and can afford...

In the 1993 film "Groundhog Day" the character played by Bill Murray finds himself caught in a loop, whereby he lives the same day over and over again. I could ask for nothing more if I could choose for this to happen at Anne Gillet's enchanting Casa Pan de Miel. Nestled on a clifftop, overlooking the azure sea, her small...
