Stayed in Blythe lodge fri - Sunday. Its the best nights sleep I've had in ages. Its our third visit and would always choose to stay with Clive and Chris they are exceptional hosts very welcoming and friendly. During this Covid time it didn't dampen our experience. Contactless entry into your room but Chris always at the other end of the phone. Breakfast delivered to your room or on the patio area. I would suggest book for lunch or eve meal at local pubs as some people couldn’t get in. Im a novice bike rider and the roads where great very peaceful for my first on road bike ride thoroughly enjoyed it. Thanks clive and chris see you again soon

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Blyth Lodge. We were in the family room which was a great size, really clean and with our own en-suite. All the beds were really comfy. Chris and Clive have put in place very good Covid measures so we felt confident about infection control during our stay. There’s a shared kitchen with microwave, fridge, sink, crockery and kitchen which we found very useful. Chris and Clive are lovely hosts, really friendly and helpful. Southwold is about a 15 minute drive and there’s a Coop about 5 mins drive from Blyth Lodge. All in all, a fantastic visit!

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. We are reassured that the changes we have had to make are being met with a good and understanding response from our guests so far. We have to be adaptable as we may have to change our ways as the Covid situation changes. Hopefully for the better as it improves. We are missing getting to know our guests a little bit more.

Inland from coast lovely quiet B and B. Friendly owners, great room and so peaceful. Use of fridge, private exit entry door. Thoroughly recommend. Local pub in nearby village had gd food but would recommend driving not walking as narrow road no footpath, even though a torch is provided......nice touch tho.

Hi There I am sorry I have not responded before. We have not really got to grips with using Tripadvisor for our business , it has been one of my many things about social media I am making myself learn so I only saw this yesterday. Thank you so much for taking the time to leave this review. We are glad you had a good experience when you stayed here with us. I am looking forward to the nicer weather when we will meet lots of lovely guests. If you do come again please mention this. The walk up to the pub is just over a mile and the lane you have to walk up hardly has any cars come through. We have walked the whole way without a car going past us. Drivers and pedestrians here are very good and slow down or stop for each other and give a little wave.LOL. That was one of the first things we noticed when we moved here. Kind Regards Chris

I stayed at Blyth Lodge as I was in Suffolk for a funeral. This lovely B&B is a hidden gem in a peaceful but convenient location. The owners were absolutely lovely, very welcoming, nothing was too much trouble and great to talk to. The rooms were nicely decorated, bathrooms really spacious and my bed was extremely comfortable. The view from my room into the garden was so relaxing and watching the birds and rabbits really nice. There is a shared kitchen for the rooms, even though there are tea and coffee making facilities in the room and also a sitting room with a TV. Breakfast had a good selection of food (fresh fruit salad, yoghurt, cereal, toast), eggs cooked to order (I had poached and they were fantastic) and a full cooked breakfast is available for a small charge. Lovely setting in the conservatory and a great start to the day. Overall I feel this is a good value for money, great base for visiting the local area and I wish I had stayed longer. I'll definitely return and I've already shared the details with friends and family.

Thank you for your lovely review. Sorry it took me a while to respond as we are quite new on TripAdvisor. I think I remember you correctly and I remember it was a cold day. When you arrived you had a nice relax chill out in your room and was getting on with some work you had to do. I am glad we helped you to have a good stay and that hopefully we will see you back with your family one day.
