I stayed for a night with my two dogs after arriving in Dover at the end of a lng drive through France. The hotel is perfectly situated, away from cental Dover but still only 5 -10 minutes drive from the ferry. Plus it is is close to the Walking area on the cliffs. The hotel is charming, dog friendly and...

The good point: the staff were friendly. However, the hotel itself needs a good renovation. The public loo looked to be from circa 1951 and the smell drifted into the lobby. Our room - 'executive' - had damp on the walls and was a depressing dark colour. There were signs of mould on the bathroom tiles. All this for £150...

The rooms are very quaint with a private en-suite. The breakfast was incredible. The dinner in the restaurant was great, with good local beer. The hotel about a 15 minute walk to the cliffs, and it can be steep at times, but you can also drive it. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would love to stay there again!

Visited this Autumn with my parents & stayed 2 nights. A major factor in our decision to stay here is that is a DOG FRIENDLY hotel. Ground floor room request for parents was accommodated but I was very disappointed with the standard of the rooms and housekeeping. Both rooms were tired and the entrance hall and rooms smelt damp. Our...

We had my husband's 65th birthday party here and it was perfect. Theresa helped us with the planning and was there on the night to make sure everything went without a hitch. We had 26 guests to a sit down meal. The food was delicious and hot. The restaurant was beautifully decorated with fresh flowers. All the staff we encountered...

Second stay here before going on cruise. Very helpful staff, nothing was to much trouble. Lovely comfortable room with 4 poster bed. The evening menu was original and food cooked to perfection. No complaint about the breakfast either. Added bonus was that we could leave car there whilst away on cruise.

What an amazing place. After about an hour it just felt like a family gathering. Just a short walk to the shore and cliffs and light house . If you'll be in the area you should consider "THE WHITE CLIFFS HOTEL".

Nice Pub-Restaurant, excellent food, nice people serving. Fantastic ambiance. Unfortunately we had to leave at 8h, so we had no breakfast and nobody at the desk. Only a 10min drive to the port of Dover. Quiet village with nice walks with dogs around.

I choose to walk from Kingsdown to this place rather than visit the Kingsdown pubs since two of them are now Shepherd Neame pubs run by a guy who thinks he's doing you a favour by letting you pay with a bank card. I just use the pub, called The Cliffe, and it is a very nice place. They sell...

I booked this hotel through Bookings.com. I booked a superior double room and was expecting to stay there by myself as my wife was away, I therefore paid extra for 'single use'. At the very last minute circumstances changed and my wife could come with me, on arriving the hotel told me I had to pay extra for a second...
