Visited the restaurant with friends for Sunday lunch. Excellent salmon which followed a lovely bowl of home made soup. The seafood risotto was a full plate of salmon, king prawns and mussels in a lovely sauce

Thoroughly enjoyed our New Year's Day meal at the Radstone! There was a set menu as expected but with plenty of choices, and staff were really helpful with slightly altering things to suit us. Everyone had different option and all meals were delicious! I'll certainly recommend the Radstone to friends & family.

Nice evening meal for family birthday (Thursday 12th). Nothing to complain about re the food - it was all pretty pretty nice standard hotel fayre, well presented by pleasant staff. The one big problem was the 'music'. Throughout the evening there was constant music blaring from the kitchen area, which is partly open-plan so noise travels into the restuarant. I'm...

Stayed two nights for a wedding. Food was very good particularly the steak pie. Staff were all very nice and very helpful. Easily accessed off Junction 8 on M 74 it would appear to be in the middle of a refurb. Our room had a few wonky bits; leaking WC cistern; bunged up sink and old furniture but it was...

Myself and my boyfriend went to this hotel on a itison voucher £79 dbb and a bottle of wine in the room ...an absolute bargain! The hotel is beautifully decorated modern and luxurious with a huge reception/bar area with comfy couches and booths. On arrival the receptionists were friendly and helpful ...wee bit of confusion over the voucher code but...

Popped into the Radstone for a meal and was amazed at the amount of fantastic improvements made to this hotel in such a short space of time. This should not have come as a surprise as the RAD group of hotels are normally designed and furnished lavishly with the best of taste. The meal of course was up to the...

The food was rather bland and the "grilled" swordfish main I had was probably microwaved due to the lack of grill marks and the texture of wet cardboard, and wet white fish scum on the top. Other members of my party were not impressed although it would seem that those who chose burgers got a decent enough meal. There was...

Service was incredibly slow. Inattentive servers who had to be corrected several times, and bland food which was missing elements described on the menu. ( and took much too long to arrive). Will not be returning. Not terrible but certainly not up to the standards you would expect. Bathroom floor sticky :(

Our booking was made several months in advance, because we had a large party for our family Christmas Dinner on boxing day, we had the relevant booking conformation and reminder! When we arrived the restaurant had no idea that we were coming only the kitchen expected us! Therefore a table had not been prepared for us, we were left hanging...
