This place was very charming....it has the homiest feel of all the places we stayed on our trip. The owner was very hospitable and had many useful suggestions and tips for what to do on our short stay. He was also very helpful in getting us booked at the Arbelour Distillery (which by his advice was a must do whiskey...

We enjoyed so much our three days in Norlaggan and we can say that this B&B is higly recommended. The nice couple who running the B&B are very hospitable and no have problems with share their huge knowledge of the area. They recommend us lovely walks and beautifull places to visit in Speyside. Also the food was very good and...

We spent a week at Norlaggan and, despite being initially apprehensive at the prospect of shared bathroom facilities, were very happy with our stay there- I suppose that's a North American hang-up. Even when there were other guests the bathroom arrangement was never a problem- the separate toilet making a big difference. The room was large enough to spread our...

Great introduction to Scottish hospitality. The property is centrally located within minutes walk to pubs, restaurants and stores. Breakfast was decent and the room was a tad cramped for a family of four (we were allowed a fifth infant) and ours didn't have an ensuite. But the owners were friendly, easy going and very hospitable while not being intrusive, making...

Homely and well run. Ken is a gem and knows his whisky. Roz was excellent as well. She made us a pot of homemade soup one evening and in the morning we were told that it was on the house. Great place to stay. Central for a lot of distilleries. We wanted for nothing. Speyside hospitallity at its very best.

A group of 6 of us stayed here for a long weekend touring distilleries- Norlaggan was the perfect spot. They even let us take over their dining room one evening for our own whisky tasting. The rooms are large and comfortable and you can not beat the location. The shared toilet and shower was no problem since we had the...

A high quality B&B in the heart of Speyside. Rooms were comfortable and clean, and the hosts were warm and welcoming. Ken was a veritable treasury of information if you should need to find quality whisky, and he helped us to book tours in the distilleries, which made our life much easier. If you travel by car, all the great...

We were visiting Speyside whisky distilleries and this was a great place to stay. The location was really good, the Aberlour distillery is at walking distance. There are lots of other distilleries (Glenfiddich, Glenfarclas, Glenlivet, BenRiach, Cardhu etc) not far away if you have a car. Ken (the owner) helped us to book a guided tour at the Aberlour distillery...

Ken and his wife really made Aberlour the most memorable stop on my family's trip through Scotland (the Aberlour Distillery down the road didn't hurt either). The house itself was terrific offering spacious rooms including one suited for three which was perfect for our sleeping arrangements. The town is gorgeous with a main road running parallel to the Spey river...

Staying at the Norlaggan guest house really added to the experience of my stay in Speyside. The room was really nicely presented with an antique feel - the place is kept very clean too. The breakfast's were excellent, with fantastically cooked fresh eggs. I enjoyed chatting to the hosts who were very friendly, relaxed and had excellent local knowledge. The...
