On a two week tour of Scotland this was my favorite spot. Friendly, Comfortable, Convenience and Whiskey! Very handy to walking trails along the river. We were lucky enough to stay on a night that 2 bands played in the bar.

While staying in Aberlour (pronounced abber-lauer), we decided to try the famous Mash Tun. Great pub food, excellent vibe and if you fancy a dram of single malt, well the choices are many. Highly recommend this hidden gem.

We had a family meal in this bar on steak Saturday. Had excellent steaks for six people with accompanying whisky suggestions. Great way to enjoy both. Meal was excellent, whisky choice was also good. Altogether a great experience
