A comfortable enough room, but the hotel was soulless and the staff, whilst friendly enough, did not seem inclined to make much of an effort, barely looking up from whatever they were doing when I arrived. Breakfast was also very basic, though I do not mind that so much as hotel breakfasts are often far too elaborate for my taste.

Late November I stayed here for 3 nights on my own while completing work in the Island. As you enter the front door you realise there is no way on earth this hotel is 4* I would put it at 2*. The bedroom is basic but I found it very cold. The bathroom is Freezing and no means of heating...

This hotel is opposite the airport so useful for early morning flights. The room was unheated when I arrived in the late evening and took a while to heat up. The bathrooms are unheated. I left the bathroom door open all night to benefit from the bedroom radiator, so as to make an early morning shower comfortable. A spare pillow...

This hotel provided friendly and comfortable overnight accommodation, just a short walk away from the airport terminal. Living at the opposite end of the Island and with a 6 a.m check-in time, it saved having to travel through the night. The room was more than adequate in size and with tv, tea/coffee facilities and large comfy bed it was an...

We stayed here for a friends wedding. The hotel and service was great all weekend, very accommodating, matching the price paid. The one thing that let it down was on our day of departure I asked if we could leave our cases at the hotel as our flight was early evening. The reception staff said we could leave them at...

Dinning room in reception? £5 charge for Wi-Fi Small rooms that was fairly tacky. Not sure where the 4 starts have came from which is plastered outside the property. I didn't stop the night and was only there for a few hours.

Ideally situated to tour the island with ease. Walking distance to airport and just 10 mins drive to douglas port. Room was adequate but was most dissapointed with double bed. All their doubles are two singles zipped together which creates the most uncomfortable divide in the centre of the bed. Certainly not great for couples or those with mobility issues....

We stayed three nights in the Sefton Express and it was average all around. It met our expectations for a hotel near the airport. It was clean, well run, and a basic breakfast is offered. One thing worth noting is that wifi is not free, wifi access costs 5 pounds. We found it was worth purchasing. We were woken up...

Thanks you for your comments, The alarms was sound as someone had set it off, and of course the best policy is to evacuate and then ask questions. It was myself that was on when the alarm went off and as i didn't know what it was, we evacuate for safety. I hope that didn't upset your stay too much...

First of all, it was brilliant to arrive at the airport then walk (past rabbits in a field) only 3 minutes to the hotel. It was quiet inside and we never heard anything from the airport. Friendly in a casual way, you are allowed to take your food, even takeaways, into your room. The room was small but contained everything...

Thank you for your comments, It was myself that was one when the alarm went off, i didn't do a name check but i did do a head count. As you can understand when the alarm goes off there is a few things i have to do which is why they was a small delay in getting the foil blankets...

We stopped here in early July 2016 (a group of five). Just really to facilitate an early-ish flight the next morning. On the whole the hotel is fine and can perhaps be compared to a Premier Inn style hotel in the UK. There’s a small restaurant\dining area on the ground floor which has a TV (though a bigger one would...
