The hotel is clean, the Wi-Fi is free and fast ant it is relatively new, but the breakfast is very basic and, hard to believe, they do not serve water to guests!!! I saw a father asking for water for his daughter baby's bottle and they denied!!! I have being to inns and low cost hotels in several countries but that greedy approach to force guests to buy water bottles I've never seen before. Really disgusting.

Avalon is a small hotel and buget. We were quite surprised with the internet and breakfast. The hotel is brandnew and located downtown. Parking is about 30 meters from the hotel and is charged extra. The street is not so nice, but I must say that is was one of the best experiences we had.

Located near the city centre, great modern and clean hotel. Staff speak fantastic English and German, very welcoming and helpful. The entrance to the hotel is excellent, very chic and I was surprised as this is supposed to be a budget hotel. My room was very clean and tidy, great air conditioning and fantastic choice of television stations. The price and te location of this hotel is supirb and I highly recommend staying here.

Excellent experience, the hotel was very clean, modern and has great rooms. The shower was amazing!!! And the staff were incredibly helpful. My Portuguese is very limited but the staff and the manager were friendly and I had no problems communicating with anybody there. The pricing really is incredible for a budget hotel, the reception and the rooms were way above my expectations. I highly recommend this hotel.
