Eden Villa was like an eden to us for our 1 night stay. Early that day we had been horseback riding at Island View Stables partially in the rain and then we visited Eagles Flying and it was mostly in the rain. We also had sore behinds from our 2 hour horse ride :) All of this before arriving to Eden Villa. We felt like we were wet smelly dogs dragging into Mary's lovely house. Mary welcomed us anyway! She showed us to our room, gave us a great dinner suggestion and told us to rest and recover. Our room and bed was like an oasis, the bed linens were so lovely as was the bed. After a good dinner and shower, off to bed we went. We slept well and the next morning Mary had the most lovely table set with china and a wonderful Irish breakfast. We even got to meet Jacob, the dog--what a cutie! We felt refreshed and ready to hit the road again after our stay with Mary. Thanks Mary!…
Peter and Mary could not have been any more the perfect hosts. Mary made sure everything was to our satisfaction and Peter supplied us with what to see and how to get there maps of our onward journey. A wonderful home to stay in and will be long remembered as one of Ireland's best.
We were in sligo for the weekend at a family event and wanted to stay close by and omg what a fabulous place to stay with the most amazing hostess. Mary welcomed us on arrival with tea and cake and looked after us so well, the rooms were so comfortable and breakfast was gorgeous. It was like home away from home. I would highly recommend a visit. We will defiantly be back. Thank you so much Mary, Peter and not forgetting Jacob x
We were given a warm welcome with tea and cake and made to feel at home. This was our fourth visit and it did not disappoint; open log fire, clean rooms and a very homely feel. It is value for money and we will be back again next year. Nothing is too much trouble and Mary and Peter help you to make the most of your stay in Tubbercurry.
We had a wonderful stay with our two daughters. This was our second visit to Eden Villa. Several years ago we were there with two friends. Our first experience was memorable and definitely wanted to revisit Mary and Peter. We were not disappointed. We had a wonderful time beginning with a hot cup of tea as a welcome. Mary and Peter went out of their way to ensure our comfort and safety. Their dinner recommendation was perfect and close to the Villa. Breakfast was delicious after a quiet and comfortable nights sleep. A great stay and another great memory.

Mary, Thank you SO much for welcoming me for 1 night when you had so much going on in your life. Everything was perfect (comfy bed, welcoming cup of tea, hot shower in the emsuite, big breakfast etc) and just what I needed after a long day driving solo. Thank you again Mary. May the sun shine for your family this coming weekend. Elizabeth Komar.
We have just returned from Ireland where we spent the month of May 2017. Our trip took us from Dublin, south to Waterford, Cork and Kinsale. On the Northbound route we included the Ring of Kerry and (more attractive) the Ring of Dingle. Further North, took us to Rossbeigh, Lahinch and the Cliffs of Moher. After seeing the Barren on the Atlantic Way Route, we visited Kyliemore Abbey and then moved further North-West towards Charlestown, Castlebar and came to the little town of TUBBERCURRY which is in the County of Sligo. Mary & Peter Brennon own a beautiful little B&B here with a magnificent well-kept garden and it was an absolute pleasure to have chosen and stayed with them. Their place is spotless and warm. Not only physically but the two of them display an attitude of absolute friendliness. Our room had an en-suite bathroom and the beautiful soft bed was enriched with an electric blanket which was really appreciated. They were over the top with helpfulness and information about the area about us. Peter, personally provided maps for visits to those “must see” sights and interesting places. His wife Mary is an overwhelmingly lovely person who you just cannot help but love. She made tea and coffee on our unexpected arrival and even phoned ahead to make a booking at an eating place in town for our evening meal. You really get the feeling of being “back home” in their place and you feel welcome to their lounge area with its warm fireplace. Mary has a most beautiful set of cutlery, plates and cups which she displays and serves at breakfast. There is no skimping at breakfast time and she takes pride in the presentation. We had a most enjoyable time with Mary & Peter and they can be commended for their enthusiasm and love of their B&B. Our trip Northwards into Northern Ireland, Belfast and then South again to Dublin was truly a friendly and trouble-free journey and a holiday to be remembered. …
We spent two nights at this beautiful B&B with the effusive, friendly, and caring Peter and Mary Brennan. The food was amazing, the beds and amenities were comfortable, but beyond the physical accommodations, Mr. and Mrs. Brennan were so committed to making sure we saw the best of the area. They spent time drawing maps for us, suggesting restaurants and sightseeing that weren't even a glimmer in our tour book's eye. More than the great location, excellent food, and soft beds, the Brennans made our stay at Eden Villa a five-star experience.
