We have stayed at Cawley's Guest House many times and this visit may have been one of the best. Teresa and Pierre have always been so welcoming and friendly to us. Our room was lovely and we were met with a small bottle of Irish whisky and fruit. Just a very nice extra bit of welcome. We are always delighted with the meals in the restaurant, service and food are always excellent. Whenever we hear that someone is traveling to Sligo we will always recommend Cawley's as the place to stay in Tubbercurry!

People continually ask why we keep going back to Ireland and South Sligo in particular. Because we love, love, love Cawley’s Guest House in Tubbercurry! With the warm, friendly welcome, clean comfortable room, and locally sourced meals, we can't imagine staying anywhere else. Teresa, Pierre, and the entire Cawley's team exceed the definition of hospitality and customer service! With each visit, we feel more like family than guests. They completely spoil and take exceptional care of us. The spacious rooms have ensuite bathrooms and plenty of storage for clothing especially when on an extended stay. There are enough electrical outlets that we could keep all of our phones and tablets charged up and ready to use. WIFI is available throughout the property (even the garden) so you can always stay connected; although with the number of things to do around town and south Sligo we hardly had time. We really appreciate the coffee and tea service available in room. Whether in the early morning or late afternoon, it is comforting to have a cup. The covered seating area outside, the lovely garden, the bar area, and the guest lounge provide lots of opportunities for us to meet up with friends and even play wild Uno games with family. We can enjoy the lovely weather, sit and visit, read a book, have a meal, or enjoy a pint. Exceptional food and drink are Cawley's hallmark. We love the generous full Irish breakfast especially the black and white puddings. Lunch is hearty and satisfying. The chicken mango sandwich is so good. After a full day of activity, dinner offers so many options from light repast to multi-course meal. Specials are available each evening and we can honestly say the shellfish are treated with utmost respect! Mussels and cockels are tender and flavorful and brown bread is required for dipping the leftover broth. Definitely save room for dessert. Rhubarb tart, lemon tart, chocolate cake, and pavlova are almost too pretty to eat, but do it. After dancing at the ceili, the bar is the late night place. During South Sligo Summer School, we enjoy listening to the session musicians and having a drink. While many go for well-known beers and cider on tap, Cawley’s features local beers and spirits. We love that the bar staff makes cocktails of all kinds, welcome suggestions, and continually update the drinks menu. Even when the bar is filled with thirsty patrons, the Cawley’s team makes sure everyone is quickly served. On this visit we brought over a dozen friends for dinner and drinks during our first week and had family (brother in law and two nieces) join us for a few days during our second week. Everyone agreed that they now know why we stay at Cawley’s. Hospitality, comfort, great food and drink all delivered in one special place. Can’t wait for our next visit!!!

My second visit and certainly not our last! Enjoyed my first visit with friends last year so much booked again for my Husband and I. We wish we had booked more than 3 nights at Cawley’s as It was absolutely lovely. Five star Hospitality at the highest level!! Teresa and Pierre and their wonderful team Ella and Angie were so helpful and considerate ensuring our stay was perfect, so refreshingly touching and warming. Their warm inviting hotel is set in picturesque surroundings with easy access to stunning coastal settings. This was a thoroughly lovely relaxing mini break. We opted for the bed, breakfast and dinner option, the choices were excellent and the food absolutely delicious. Lovely lounge with an open fire where we enjoyed our afternoon tea and scones which Teresa made for us on our arrival after a delayed flight - so welcoming! Lovely cosy bar for locals and guests to enjoy. Thank you everyone at Cawley’s!!

The room was clean and comfortable. Pierre and Teresa and staff were very accommodating. The best surprise was the restaurant, which served great food at very good prices. We had both dinner and breakfast: great quality, preparation, service, and value. Also we had no plans for the evening and they recommended a drama competition, next door; which turned out to be a lot of fun. There is off street parking, but there was also safe parking available on the street. We were in the area to fish for pike with Brendan Sharkey of predatorfishingireland, who recommended Cawleys Guest House. It was a great choice for a couple needing a good clean and quite place to stay prior to fishing the local loughs.

Wonderful little Inn! We had both dinner and breakfast. The food was excellent and the staff and locals were friendly and helpful. We told them our dinner was better than what we had a few days earlier at the carriage house at Adare Manor! The rooms were very comfortable. We highly recommend this Inn and their restaurant.

Teresa and Pierre are most welcoming, the guest house is well situated, with good links to Knock airport. Restaurant to eat inside or a variety of places nearby. Lovely decor with place of honour to the Fire Brigade.

Room excellent, ability to breakfast up to 12noon, parking either in small car park or right outside the door under CCTV; very good indeed, though were only there for one night, last night. Staff attitude superb, very much appreciated, possibly especially by middle-aged travellers.

What an absolute treat it was to stay at Cawley’s Guesthouse! Visiting Tubbercurry from Australia with my toddler for the wedding of two very good friends, we were welcomed so warmly from the moment we arrived and treated so graciously throughout. The building itself is astonishingly beautiful and has so much charm. Our room was elegantly decorated and oh so comfortable and cosy. The venue is wonderfully hosted by Teresa and Pierre, and complimented by an absolutely sensational team of staff. We had breakfast each morning and dinner most nights in the dining room, each and every meal was delightful and beautifully cooked, and the service impeccable. Nothing was ever a bother to our hosts or their team, even with my often rambunctious toddler who rarely sat still or used his inside voice. We feel so blessed to have experienced Tubbercurry and surrounds, and to have had the pleasure of staying at Cawley’s. It is certainly an experience that I will never forget and we can’t wait to visit again! Thank you, merci beaucoup, Teresa, Pierre and your wonderful team.

Saw the Cawley name (mine own!) and had to stop in. Teresa welcomed us in with open arms for a good chat and a signature "Cawley Cosmopolitan". Teresa and staff couldn't have been friendlier and we will remember and return to Cawley's again. Thanks to all and see you next visit to Ireland.

Teresa greated us upon our arrival and the staff took care of our bag and showed us our room. We had a lovely dinner and wine at their restaurent. Teresa later spent some time at our table telling us of the history of her guest house and of the area. We met her husband the next morning and you could tell that he also had a love for the house and it's guests.
