This was a great hotel -- and the dinner (particularly the vegetarian set menu) was divine! The owner and his wife were lovely, friendly and very helpful.

This isn't expensive, so don't expect too much, but this was my favourite hotel in the Dordogne region. Vegetarians have to stay here - they really made an effort to provide interesting vegtarian options, which is really hard to find in this region. The staff were SO friendly and helpfu, and the location is lovely. It is a bit out...

Two years later, the same good value, helpful hosts, decent food, great position. Still needs a makeover! The only thing different here was that the restaurant was closed the first night of my stay and I don't think I can see that on the website, and certainly the booking service I used didn't tell me. On the second night i...

Pleasant hotel, nice grounds and good view up to Domme. Good location for exploring Dordogne region, but a little isolated. Much easier to find than I expected. Good hotel for the price but not exceptional Staff friendly and rooms comfortable, though a refurb wouldn't hurt. Large car park with easy access to main road towards Sarlat, Domme or La Roque...

Came upon this hotel by chance in the Logis de France book. Found it great value - went for half board option and the food was excellent. The service seemed much better than I would have expected from a hotel in this price range and the staff were all very friendly - particularly the husband and wife who own it....

My husband & myself stayed at this hotel for 3 weeks in July'07. It is a little Jewel in a perfect situation. Near Sarlat, Domme, centre La Roque Gageac, Beynac, Castelnaud, the 5 Chateau's, river, grottos etc. Most within walking/cycling distance. Patrick & Raphaela took over the hotel about 2years ago and have slowly being doing it up. The rooms...

I first stayed at this hotel in south west France during a group walking holiday in Dordogne area.I so enjoyed the experience came back for a further week on my own! The hosts, Patrick & Raffaella could not have been more caring bending over backwards to make my stay (as single older person) most enjoyable. They suggested places of interest...

I'd booked the hotel via the Logis de France website. We've stayed there twice, in summer 2003 and again in 2004 as we absolutely loved it. Great for couples due to privacy. The staff are very friendly, family run small hotel. The grandad, who sometimes sits on reception can be a bit moody, typical old French chap, but he can...
