Warm welcome, clean, well appointed bedrooms and en-suites. Reception and public areas very clean and comfortable. Lovely setting, grounds beautiful. Rooms were lacking tea/coffee facilities. The hotel restaurant was not open on the night we arrived but the owner quickly booked us into a nearby restaurant, which turned out to be superb. We would stay here again.

Set in its own grounds with plenty of parking and areas to sit around the hotel and relax. An added bonus was the swimming pool, which looked very inviting but did not seem to be full of water to the capacity so gave the impression of not being filtered. We stayed three nights and had a room at the back...

Touring around France and really wanted to stay at the Esplanade in Domme. Being November Domme was closed - no kidding - literally deserted. We headed north out of Domme and crossed the Dordogne River. We arrived at Hotel Le Perigord at about seven in the evening in the pitch dark and pouring rain. At first we drove past because...

My husband and I stayed recently for 3 nights with half board. There was plenty of parking and we were very warmly welcomed on arrival. As requested (based on a previous comment we read) we were given room 17 at the back of the hotel with a beautiful view directly up to Domme. It was a refurbished room with a...

Home from home for a long weekend whilst we attended a wedding held in the area. Easy to locate and super food and a personal welcome and support from the couple who run the hotel and have a sense of humour. 'The Greengage Summer' could be filmed here in lovely grounds with fields beyond and a lovely view of Domme...

We enjoyed a two night stay at the Perigord while biking in the area. The location was perfect for us as it provided a home base for our circle tour of the area. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. The hotel itself is an older building - exactly what you would expect in that area. It is well maintained,...

A brief stop on my way back to Paris. Very friendly and accommodating. A warm welcome on arrival (of the genuine kind) was most welcome. My double room with shower was clean, presentable and to a good standard (Newly refurbished). The hotel benefits from an excellent restaurant offering great food and service to match. After over two weeks on the...

Wonderful hotel with wonderful staff in a park-like setting. Room was spacious, comfortable and quiet. Plenty of parking. The restaurant was excellent, but should be reserved ahead as it is also popular. It was a great base for exploring the Dordogne area.

This hotel is in the ideal situation for visiting the local towns & beauty spots, relatively small with a family run feel, the staff were polite & helpful.
