We stayed in the annex which was a lovely suite. The décor is simple and refined. Neil was very helpful and welcoming. Provisions were provided for breakfast were nice, plus a nepresso machine . I would have like a teapot or a mug as trying to make a cup of tea in a small tea cup is not very practical....

Thank you for taking the time to review Dry Paddocks and give suggestions. We are delighted you enjoyed our part of NZ and our local wineries. We have added to our kitchen, some larger mugs for especially suited tea lovers. kind wishes Neil Hyndman

Only an hour away from Christchurch and a complete transformation of scenery, felt very much like we could have been in the South of France. From the moment we stepped into this well appointed luxurious cottage we were impressed! The wine in the fridge and the beautifully presented breakfast was second to none experienced before. Everything one would need to...

Neil and Gillian were the most gracious hosts for the arrival of our first night in New Zealand after 4 long flights from the US. The room was well appointed and the grounds are immaculate - such as wonderful collection of trees, gardens, and grounds; all meticulously kept. We also appreciate the recommendations on local restaurants and wineries Bravo!

The cottage easily accommodates 4 people, with great outdoor areas for relaxing as well as a spacious living and kitchen area. The breakfast and nibbles are amazing, with wineries for lunch and tastings close by. The hosts Gillian and Neil just add...
