This is a large hotel which has seen better days. However, the staff, particularly in the restaurant, worked hard and did their best to make the experience a good one, despite the pressure they were working under. We didn't use the pool facilities, but they looked good. It was a shame they didn't open until 3.30pm though as this didn't...

As stated before the apartments are basic but functional. A few loose door handles, the front of a drawer missing and a crack in the back of a door (!) but overall our apartment was fine - flat screen TV, small but adequate cooking area, two bathrooms (one en suite) etc. The hotel facilities are very good - pool, sauna,...

The location was really great, right next to the lifts up to the ski slopes. Apartment was not too bad, one good sized bedroom room and a tiny room for our 2 daughters with bunk beds. Living room/kitchenette was ok size-wise. We wanted to occasionally cook for ourselves, not just eat out, so I really wish there had been an...

This is not an apartment block at the luxury end of the market. But ... it was very good value when we went and in an excellent position 50 metres from the lifts. We were in the Monte Bianco block over the shops and bar area. But as it was pre-christmas the place was virtually deserted and noise was not...

This is a big hotel with so many departments for families or group of people; nice and charming town, enjoyable scenery, and amiable people makes it a perfect place to spend the weekend. Only downsize is that parts of the hotel need maintenance and the parking lot is so big that is confusing where to park to be near your...

Having read reviews before staying at the self catering apartments, I was dubious about what we were going to. However, I'm a strong believer that you get what you pay for. We got an excellent deal at these apartments and got a fab weeks stay for what we paid! Kitchen had enough equipment for us to cook our own meals...

After reading a lot of reviews of this place before booking we decided to book it purely on the following factors that were more important to us than 5* luxury! 1) the location is excellent, ski in ski out! When you think about it that is what your holiday is for (if going skiing that is!) 2) the price -...

We stayed here for a week as leaders on a school ski trip. (So I don't know the cost). Firstly I'd say it's not 4 star, maybe 3? The place is a little tired (TV had built in VHS tape player) but it suited our needs. The rooms are spacious and the location is excellent for the ski lifts, a...

Very convenient for the ski slopes. The apartments seem to be variable in quality. Some are acceptable others are totally unacceptable. We sampled both so beware. Ask to speak to the manager Eleanor if you are not satisfied. She was extremely helpful in changing our apartment. The corridors were warm, the apartment was warm. Plenty of hot water in fairly modern...

We were told this was a 4* residence, it barely exceeds a 2* if you are self catering and want clean and comfortable. The only good thing in the whole apartment was the mattresses. The kitchen had a hideous two ring cooker, a complete lack of any useful utensils (thank goodness we took a cutting knife and bottle opener!) or...
