The rooms were far more comfortable than the exterior suggests. The bed was a good large size and the big bonus for us was the air conditioning which many motels do not have in New Zealand it seems. It was an easy 20 minutes to the caves and the Kiwi Hoise. The biggest drawback was we had a room 3...

Perfect place to stay while in Waitomo - only about 15-20 minutes from the caves. Clean, bright, and very comfortable. Enjoyed the balcony and quiet. Very nice staff, and a cute cat was in the parking lot too!

I was really happy with my stay at Waitomo Lodge, it was convenient, clean, spacious, and friendly. It was a great value for my money. My only complaint was that it was slightly noisy due to the traffic and the railway, but with its location that is to be expected. And it certainly wasn't so noisy that I had trouble...

We were here last year. Needed to stay in Te Kuiti again and thought about going somewhere else.....but no, nowhere else is as good! Especially with the great Bosco cafe directly over the road. Great coffee and food!

Very friendly with clean modern rooms. Good shower with a range of shampoos & soaps. Very little road noise, but the train line does pass the back of the property, so I would avoid these rooms. Very friendly staff, had been a mix up with the booking and one of the rooms did not have air-conditioning. Unfortunately we could not...

The room was rather large, unusual finish outside of what looks like plywood exterior. The bathroom was nice. The microwave didn't work but we didn't stress too much about that. The river you could see outside if you looked to the left but there were too many weeds to see it from the room itself. It was a nice country...

Stopped here for a night after a hectic day at waitomo caves. Beautiful room over looking the river and a herd of dairy cows. comfy beds and pillows. Air conditioning made the days warmth into a comfortable nights sleep. Good selection of hot beverages. Basic shower is all you needed. This motel is cheap and I would definitely stay again

We Loved this Motel! It is deceiving from the road, looking more like a "barn". But check out the luxurious rooms, new carpets, new everything and sublimely appointed for a country town. We had the back room with double and single beds. It had a surprisingly incredible deck out the back ( with creek, country and train views), high ceilings,...

We were very impressed with the motel rooms. Great size, comfortable beds and very clean. A little Oasis from the very depressing town of Te Kuiti. This is definitely not a tourist town, so don't plan on spending anymore time than needed for the stop over on the way or back from the Waitomo Caves. The little village near the...

This is the newest motel in Te Kuiti and is pristine. The rooms are very well appointed with tea and coffee making, a microwave and a good supply of crockery and utensils. It is a bit out of town but opposite a cafe and also offers pizza delivery and charge back for local restaurants. There is off-street parking, sky TV,...
