This place is gorgeous & so quiet! If you're looking for a lot of activities, clubs, etc. this is not for you. It is small and quaint with a beach all to yourself! Food is wonderful! Service & staff are also wonderful! Great place to relax and unwind. You can take golf carts around the island or bicycles. Great snorkeling...

The solitude of a private island, deserted beach, very few people, excellent service and gourmet food made this a perfect location for us. Not being Club Med type of people, we were searching for a high end exclusive property and Meridian Club did not disappoint. The people we met during our stay, were by all accounts, were very interesting, like minded...

This review is for a trip in March 2014. Our usual winter trip is to the BVIs. For a few years I researched many small single resort islands (Guana Island, Petit St. Vincent, Peter Island etc.) After reading endless reviews and reading through the lines, we decided on the Meridian Club for a special trip (big birthday and overcoming health...

I was burned out after a long work stint and luckily for me I found the perfect fix at Sand Dollar Cottage. No technology to drag me back to real life, just time to unwind in some of the most beautiful scenery I've ever laid eyes on; my camera got some serious activity. Bit of an effort on the food...

Upon arrival in Provo you endure the customs (pick one of the lines on the end) to finally step outside the airport and are met with crowds of people milling about trying to figure out where they are going. Not you, though. As you step into the sun, Tina magically appears with the question: you are going to Meridian?" Yes,...

We love so many aspects of the Meridian Club. The beach is stunning, water is gorgeous, food delicious, rooms are nice - the sand is out your door, staff is lovely. The one thing that may keep us from returning is the social aspect. We are hard working NYer's who deal with people every day and the #1 most important...

We pride ourselves on a high guest return rate, and are very concerned you were unable to unwind during your vacation to Pine Cay. Our staff is trained to “read” the guests....

Although we have been coming to TCI for many years, this was our first trip to Pine Cay and the Meridian Club. It was everything we hoped for and more. The beach was gorgeous and unpopulated, the room comfortable and the food amazing. Staff was friendly and extremely helpful. The 'shoes optional' policy, even at dinner, adds to the laid-back...

Where else can you go to the most pristine, miles long beach and practically not see another person all day?! Not only is the Meridian Club easily accessible from Miami, it is truly pristine and private. Why fly across the world to Fiji or Hawaii or any other far flung destination when this gem is right here? To say nothing...

So I did a lot of research to find a beach vacation spot. We love Hawaii, but we wanted something closer. After Turks & Caicos was recommended to me, I found the Meridian Club on Trip Advisor. I could not believe all the 5 star reviews - how can that be? Well, after staying there, now I know. The Meridian...

Oh my! What a joy to find a resort such as this tucked away on its own private island. As one guest said "this a not a resort of the casino, drinking, conga line groups". But if you want peace, beautiful sunrises, gorgeous sunsets, seashells, friendliest staff and guests ever, freshest and best prepared meals ever, and a resort which...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Meridian Club is a private island hideaway resort in the Turks & Caicos islands of the Caribbean, with two miles of deserted, pristine white-sand beach (just 90 minutes by air from Miami). The property is environmentally sensitive and ideal for those seeking an unspoiled secluded retreat. Founded in 1973, the Meridian Club offers a Caribbean experience the way it was before the appearance of big hotels and condominiums, jet skis and beach umbrella communities. No crowds, no cars, no noise - a step back in time to a simpler, less hectic life. 12 beachfront/premium rooms and the Sand Dollar Cottage are set among sand dunes, sea oats and sea grapes, fronting on the beach. Some of the privately owned homes that share the island are also available for rent. Soothing trade winds ensure comfortable temperatures and low humidity year round while the surrounding waters (averaging a pleasant 75° - 80° Fahrenheit) teem with marine life. Underwater visibility often exceeds 100 feet and there are miles of coral gardens within a five minute boat ride. Ashore, Pine Cay remains a pristine natural haven, a private secluded island with vast open space and seven freshwater ponds, a perfect habitat for the abundant local fauna and flora. Winner of several awards from TripAdvisor, Andrew Harper, Caribbean Journal and Fodors honored. ... more   less
