Glencoe House offers 5-star luxury suite accommodation in the heart of the Scottish Highlands. The hotel comprises fourteen generous private suites (from 75-148 sq. metres) and contains two distinctive concepts. Firstly, The Glencoe House Suites that are located in the mansion house and have a wealth of period features together with sea or mountain views. Secondly, The Bell Tower Suites which are located 50m from the mansion and are more modern in look and feel and garden views; all have private walled gardens with hot tubs. Regardless of your choice, Glencoe House offers elegant but relaxed and sumptuous suites, with the space and privacy to really kick your shoes off and unwind.

My partner booked Glencoe House as a surprise following our engagement when visiting Glencoe Lochan. We did a week long trip which began in Loch Lomond and then went onto Glencoe, Fort William, Isle of Skye then finally Aberfeldy I did think we were staying in Fort William for 2 nights but was very surprised to find we were actually staying in one of the suites at Glencoe House for a night! What an absolutely gorgeous hotel this is! Firstly, the hotel looks absolutely stunning externally - on arrival it reminded me of the house from ‘The Secret Garden’ We stayed in Suite 8 on the ground floor which had access to a private terrace outside, complete with a huge hot tub and a small outdoor dining set - all of which overlooks the incredible scenery of Glencoe. In the hot tub at night, we could hear an owl in the woods not too far away, and even saw it swoop down to another woodland area below late at night There are also currently a small family of deer roaming the grounds, however we weren’t lucky enough to catch them during our stay - we saw them on Glencoe’s Instagram page just after we left :( In our room we had an enormous super king size bed with gorgeous white bedding, gorgeous antique furniture with lots of character, and a roll top bath in the bedroom which we had tea light candles provided and amazing bubble bath. In some hotels which have super king beds, you often find that it’s actually two single beds pushed together but this one was in fact a full super king and it was so comfy, I checked the label to see which brand it was The bathroom, in keeping with the rest of the suite was absolutely divine. It had a spacious rain feature shower with an additional handheld shower head - the cleansing products provided were from the Highland Soap Company and smelled absolutely beautiful. There were also Terry towelling robes provided with cotton guest slippers - a very nice touch. Finally, in the bathroom sat right in front of the window was an enormous Japanese bath - basically a huge, deep Furo style bath overlooking the scenery outdoors again. This was absolutely stunning and we got up at 7am to make sure we got a quiet bath listening to the birds outside before breakfast! We were in this room for less than 24 hours and used both baths, the hot tub twice and the shower ha! My partner booked a private dinner and breakfast in our room which were both absolutely lovely. We had table service from the lovely waiters / waitresses at Glencoe House, whilst being able to sit at a quiet dining table, playing our own music and looking out at the panoramic view of Glencoe once more We were asked to select our menu choices on checking into our room which was great - lovely menu choices also! Can definitely recommend the steak with truffle butter, it was absolutely to die for! We were given a small bottle of complimentary champagne on arrival, and we had access to a mini bar stocked with wines and other drinks which were very reasonably priced! The living area of our suite also had a 3 seater sofa and single armchairs, a huge fireplace, a television, a nespresso coffee machine, a kettle with tea/coffee/biscuits provided. I honestly cannot fault this hotel and plan to return as soon as the right occasion arises! A must visit, you won’t be disappointed

Stayed in the Bell Tower suite. It is fabulous. Lovely accommodation but quirky, thoughtful touches such as an ice bucket by the bath and candles. The wood burner was a massive hit with me whilst my husband seemed to be constantly in and out of the hot tub. The food in the freezer was excellent and trouble free cooking. It has felt like a spa weekend as far as relaxation is concerned helped by phenomenal weather. Lovely very helpful staff and fabulous walks. We will be back very soon I think.

This was our first stop in Scotland, and the first of three hotels we stayed in Isle of Skye. This hotel definitely set the bar for all of our following stays. In fact, it was unbeatable with exquisite location. We had a feeling we went back in time, perhaps to the Bridgerton era, and we were certainly looked after as if we were ladies of the manor! The food was fresh and delicious, and staff outstanding and attentive. The grounds and history behind this house is fascinating- special mention goes to Bertie, who I will never forget.

We had stayed in Glencoe House 2 years ago and had a wonderful time. We were a bit anxious returning that it wouldn't be as good but our fears were blown out of the water as soon as we arrived and the additional measures that staff had put in place for coronovirus did not detract from this. We felt very reassured Richard was so welcoming and quickly settled us into Suite 6. It is the smallest of the suites but it was very spacious with glorious views of the Pap of Glencoe. We were very well looked after by both Bryonie and James who provided us with both breakfast and dinner at our own dining table. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. We met both chefs and discussed our dinner choices each day. As well as a menu there was local produce which would be cooked to order.....thank you Sebastian and Connal. There was a very well stocked bar with spirits, mixers and snacks, as well as a good selection of red and white wines. All reasonably priced We are mindful that we only met a few of the staff and the whole team contributed to make our return experience fantastic......so thank you 😊 We can't wait to come back!

We recently celebrated our 40th Wedding Anniversary in this remarkable, first-class hotel. We were warmly welcomed by Richard, who set the scene for our wonderful weekend by giving us a potted history of Glencoe House and its romantic beginnings and surroundings. We were blown away by the splendour and luxury of suite 3 with its cosy sitting room and log fire, our dining table sat in the bay window overlooking the loch and mountains, and the massive bed in the master bedroom. The master bedroom also had its own log fire and we loved falling asleep to the sound of the crackling fire, so romantic. The cleanliness was second to none, and I am extremely picky! The bathroom, with two baths side by side, was gleaming every day when we returned from our walks and enjoyed a bath with champagne by candlelight pre-dinner. All meals were served in our room by the lovely Bryonie, who was perfect at her job. We were also very impressed by Connal, the chef who met with us daily to discuss my challenging food allergies and requests. I was over the moon when he went out of his way to make me special, very tasty dishes. I can't thank the staff enough for making our special celebration one to remember. If you would like quiet, luxurious accommodation with top class service, excellent fine dining, in amazing natural surroundings of lochs, forests and Scottish mountains then book this hotel, you will not be disappointed.
