This hotel was a great building and it's in the best position. However it is under major renovations and it's a real pity it was allowed to fall into such a state of repair. The current owners are progressing to bring this hotel into some kind of acceptable condition and if you insist on staying in one of the rooms...

Absolutely awful, do not book this hotel, photos speak for themselves So bad we didn't stay looked for somewhere else it was so bad!!!! We experienced dirty / stained bedding (including things from the nose) , corridors had an awful odour, mould on the ceiling in the bedroom, toilets unfit to use!! My girlfriend and I stayed at this hotel attending a Ceroc dance weekend event held at the hotel. I raised a number of complaints and completed the hotel complaints form. There were no working lights in the bedroom or bathroom for several hours on the 14th. No bulb in light over wash basin during our stay. No water to the...

I have just returned from an overnight stay in this hotel. It is unsafe in my opinion and should not be open for business. The rooms are being upgraded but it should remain closed whilst this happens. you will see this from the photographs. If you want to have a good time avoid this HOTEL !!

We stayed here because it was the nearest hotel to the venue of a family party. My brother booked us in and said he thought the reviews were exaggerated. They were not! There was no lock on the front door. When we arrived back late at night we had to call the manager Joseph who untied the door handles which...

The hotel is very shabby and tired, the rooms are the same. There were workman working on the second floor over the Easter weekend which was a nuisance especially when they piled into the bar after work in their dirty work clothes, not really what a guest wants to see when they are relaxing in the bar area as we...

We visited here for using the function rooms for various parties and its well suited to large parties with all the facilities available for self catering and support given throughout. Both function rooms can be joined together to make a 750 seat area add to that the lovely sea view and it just makes a experience for any event.

The only thing missing was Basil Faulty. We booked this place back in October with friends for a dance weekend. The day of our arrival we got a call "telling" us that we had been relocated to another nearby hotel. My partner insisted that we would not move. So we arrived and checked into a building site, lots of boxes...

I decided to book a couple of nights at this hotel as it is very much a landmark on the coastline so it was an opportunity to stay in a hotel I've passed many a time and always wondered what it was like inside but sadly it's has been rather neglected over the years. This means that a lot of...
