At the price we paid in February the accommodation far exceeded our expectations. The only downside was that perhaps the mattress in room 10 could be upgraded, it was very soft. All staff were excellent and very friendly. Good menu and great value if you go for the early bird two course offer.

Have stayed here before for the price not too bad, but on this visit had room 18, at the top of the stairs, room big, clean, the only downside was that everyone including myself has to bang doors to close them, and the staircase is extremely noisy especially when people coming in at 2 in the morning, then all clattering...

Having been recommended this place by a friend who had stayed here around 2 years ago i decided to give the place a try and unfortunately was disappointed. Pros Nice ambience in the bar and food areas. Good selection of beverage. Staff friendly enough. Included continental breakfast fairly good (although did not have much as paid for full English). Full...

Have used this place before without complaint, but last night was something else ... evening meal was over cooked and not very tasty! Room radiator not working, window not able to shut as timber swollen and late October is not overly warm in Cramlington! WiFi not working, staff called supplier not sure if they did anything? 1st fire alarm evacuation...

We stay here quite often but the standard has dropped. The beds were uncomfortable and the pillows lumpy. The main problem was the almost total lack of WiFi not only in the rooms but throughout the Snowy Owl too. According to the manager everything is handled through Head office and although he reported the problem it wasn't fixed for the...

Check in was quick and painless, our room was a good size, very clean and comfortable and was far enough away from the restaurant that it was very quiet. No complaints about the complimentary continental style breakfast. Pretty easy access to Newcastle if you manage to negotiate the small section of road with no footpath to the bus stop which...

We regularly visit this country pub as the food is pleasant enough. The menu changes regularly and has all the usual pub grub favourites. The staff are very nice, always friendly. The place itself, is very old but tastefully decorated inside. On cold days, the fire adds a warm and cosy ambiance to the place. It does get busy on...

Clean tidy great valve , lovely food .We used this accommodation as a stop over on the way to Scotland. would recommend this to other travellers. wifi was only down side as poor reception in the room. that was really the only down side and location was next to A1 and the village was a drive away not a walk...

Stayed in a family room which we booked last minute. Room wasn't set up for us when we arrived (at about 9pm) although that was relatively quickly sorted. It was clean but smelt a little damp and there was no bath which was a shame. Bar/restaurant was nice and served a good selection of beers. In summary, it was 'OK'...

I suppose I'd have to describe this as a down-market Premier Inn. You have to check in at the bar so you could be in for a long wait if they are busy. The room I had was big, clean, comfortable and well-appointed. I must have been near the header tank as there was the sound of running water most...
