My wife and I have just returned from this hotel after a short break in the area. It is in a great situation. Just a couple of minutes from the beach and situated right beside a number of restaurants, shops, stalls, etc. The bus stop to the centre of Lisbon is a short walk away. The hotel itself is small...

Stayed there 7 nights, perfect nice small residence with very helpfull staff, no problem to speak with them in English. Nice, clean and comfortable rooms, we had small balcony view to pedestrian zone leading to the ocean. Breakfast buffet with a lot of choice, dinner took place in the pizzeria just few steps from hotel entrance. Everyday´s food, fruit, vegetable...

Residencial Mar e Sol is one of the best small scale hotel in Costa da Caparica, just 40 minutes away from the main city of Lisbon. There they provided breakfast, buffet style, eat as much as you want, but not to take-away and that is fair. The breakfast included many types of cold cuts, cheese, varieties of bread, freshly baked...

I stayed in Costa Caparica for the first time last summer. The hotel was simple and clean. I spotted Residencial Sol e Mar while there and externally it is a cut above the others in the town.So I booked myself in for six days last week. The external style is well matched by the interior and the receptionist was charming...

Nice place to spend the night. The rooms are small, but clean and the price is perfect. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very elaborate. Great value for money, in my opinion.

Very clean place, quiet, located right in the center of Costa da Caparica by a pedestrian street - beach, supermarket, post office, coffee shop, restaurants, and banks - all within a very short walking distance. Some people have complained about the size of the room but failed to mention that this hotel daily rate is less than 40 euros per...

Of course, Lisbon is a fantastic place to spend a few days. We decided to have the best of both worlds this summer: the city and the beach. Sol e Mar is in a nice neighbourhood, surrounded yu all kinds of restaurants and close to the beach. It is pretty windy out there, so be sure to pack a jumper...

We stayed in Residencial Mar e Sol for a week in the second week of June. We were very happy with the quality, service and the location. The hotel is situated by the main pedestrian street in Costa da Caparica but you cannot hear the sound coming from outside as most of the rooms are facing back of the street....

“Didn't have wifi in the room I was in, but it is a small hotel and there are plenty of places to sit and access it for free in comfort. I was at the end of the corridor and not bothered by the noise from reception as others have commented on but I was further away from the wifi.”
