Firstly I never write reviews but having visited this campsite twice I feel I need to explain my experiances!! Having travelled Europe by motorhome for 15months last year and staying at numerous campsites when we arrived at Pedra and Cupa we felt very comfortable and experienced a warm welcome! A very short walk from a beautiful beach but also boasting a beautiful swimming pool where the water is fresh and at the perfect temperature!! We left this campsite very happy and content! We are an English family who have recently settled in North Sardinia. Having made some amazing friends the year before we had decided to meet up again at this campsite! Where our children can play safely with freedom but also be entertained by the amazingly friendly animation team Georgia, Michele, Andrea, Fabio and Karoline we would like to thank you for all your hard work in such a hot climate they never fail to deliver! Our children have had a holiday to remember! Especially when we spend the morning at the beach the animation team are there to make sure the children are happy! They are discreet when they need to be and they know when to leave you alone! When you want a little relax!! For our family this campsite is No1 with management being attentive, facilities always clean, great shows and disco’s on the evening to entertain the whole family!! WE DO NOT UNDERSTAND ANY OF THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS BUT I SUPPOSE YOU CAN’T PLEASE PEOPLE WHO DO NOT WANT TO BE PLEASED IN THE FIRST PLACE Thank you once again Loran, Antonio, Neo and Xen

My husband and I stayed in an air conditioned bungalow here. It was small, air conditioned (not all of them are) and clean but the hot water for the kitchen had never been connected (I got my hot water for washing dishes from the bathroom) nor had the light above the stove. We reported this at the office and just got a shrug and a comment that the bungalows are old. I looked in another bungalow and discovered that it was the same. There was also no place to sit inside the bungalow, just a table and chairs outside on the little patio. A large swimming pool a short distance away on the grounds had a bar and restaurant. There is also very loud music and a microphone turned to high which went on from 9:30 to 11:30 PM which provided entertainment for the children. If I wanted to sleep before it ended, I used earplugs. This is very much a family oriented camp site. The beach is a short walk away and a nice one, if crowded, especially in August, and also has a bar and restaurant. It was a short drive into Budoni to the grocery store and we had drinks on the shady patio of a restaurant called the Spinnaker and discovered a very nice garden area in the back for eating-mainly pizzas. I know I am writing this review with the perspective of an American. It seemed rather exotic and different to me. I've stayed in bungalows in camping sites in France and Croatia. I don't know if you would enjoy staying here if you didn't speak Italian (my son who speaks Italian was there with his family, so that was helpful). The recycling was very strict but there was someone there to help put things in the right place but the recycling can only be done a few hours a day. Wifi was only available in either bar and didn't reach far. Given the price, I was expecting a bit more luxury. We were glad our place was on the end because many of the bungalows had not view at all and were very close to their neighbors.

This is not a perfect campground, especially for the price, but there are many positive and wonderful things about it. Most of the front office staff were very friendly and helpful. The staff who dealt with children and entertainment were all very friendly and excited to make the kids happy, as can be seen during their nightly kids' shows that run from 9:30pm to 11:30pm. This place is ideal for children. The camper and camping sites were very orderly and the bathrooms were cleaned twice a day and were very hygenic. Out of the two handymen who run the camp, the young one was very friendly and helpful, while the older man was surly and constantly rude to everyone. The recently implemented recycling laws have made dealing with trash disposal very difficult, to say the least. My family tried very hard to separate our trash into 6 (!) separate trash bags in order to comply with the insanely strict recycling laws of Sardegna. However, you can only get rid of your trash from 9-10am, and 2:30-3:30, otherwise you are out of luck. While you are getting rid of your trash, the surly rude old man glares at you and constantly criticizes your efforts. That could definitely be improved, but is the only negative part of our entire experience. The nearby beach (two minute walk away) is gorgeous, with several restaurants nearby. If you want to go camp in Sardegna with all the necessary amenities (minus an ATM or a well-stocked market), then go to Pedra e Cupa. The campground is very close to town, but a bike would be recommended to get there.
