Despite the apartments being 200mt far from the sea, the car is necessary unless you appreciate the smelly dead posidonia covering the seaside. The overpriced apartment is very basic, equipped with dated furniture and without air-conditioning system. Honestly I don’t understand why this location is so overrated and unluckily, the owners’ attitude doesn’t help in turning this bad place into a good one. The restaurant is the only thing can be saved there.

Fantastic week here at La Pineta. Faultless! Amazing hosts who welcomed us with a beer and chatted to us...Albeit in Italian(should have checked it out pre visit!)..Did manage some French which Martine understood!. Ugo gave us maps for exploring parts of the island and Antony was friendly and loved his guitar!!! Excellent food made by Martine..wonderful Dorada fish dishes and clams...Emi the pizza man produced the best wood fired pizzas on the island... Accomodation...Front and back outside seating area..large bedspace, leading to a kitchen diner with all utensils and large fridge freezer..Great shower/toilet..Excellent. All this set in a rural beauty spot 5 mins from a natural peaceful beach...one or two people...Just perfect...close to the SS125 road taking you easily to towns and amazing beach/swimming locations...Quiet road and mountains abound...Green green island. Not to be missed

Our little family of three (incl. Baby of 11 month) stayed here for a week - we had a very good experience far away from the bling bling of costa smeralda. The place is very nicely located - lazy 5 min walk from the beaches, which are a little wild and not the perfect white postcard beaches (next one is in Budoni- 10 min drive). We still enjoyed them most, especially as they were almost lonely, although the water is great and the view is amazing. The little apartment itself is very simple, but still atmospheric and very clean. There are some smaller flaws (e.g. fixed shower head or the too short tap for the kitchen sink) which I would admonish in a more expensive setting, but one can live it. On the other side, despite that we took the appts without AC, they were pleasantly ventilated if you kept the windows open on both sides (there is a front and rear entrance). Another big plus - Ugo and his family running the place not only love children, they are also well equipped with babystuff (high chair, babybed etc): very helpful if you arrived by plane as we did. The owners were extremely nice and helpful hosts throughout the whole stay. Last but not least - they also run a very good restaurant which serves a nice small menu (mostly fish) and very good pizza which changes every day. If you choose, you don't need to cook at all and eat there well every day for a very reasonable price. We had a very good time and got exactly what we were looking for: A quiet and nice baby-friendly place close to the beach with lovely hosts. If you are looking for a) Party b) Action c) Bling Bling - this might not be the right place for you. We will definitely go again.

Nice apartment among the nature, next to a very good restaurant offering traditional sardinian food (every evenig meal was a real adventure). The staff gave us a lot of useful information about what to see.

La Pineta is a very nice place to stay in Sardinia. The appartment we booked was perfect for our holiday. It was a basic appartment with everything you need. The garden was big with a slide for the children. From our terrace we could oversee the garden and look at our children of 1 and 2. You need a car if you stay in La Pineta and if you have it, you can go to beautifull places. Everything with in an hour but most spots within 10 to 20 minutes. The best part of La Pineta is probably the hospitality of the owners Ugo and Martina. They give you a warm welcome and will help you with everything. Ugo gave us tips about where to go, made us roadmaps, gave us a beachumbrella etc.. They have a nice restaurant where you can go for a nice pizza or just for a drink. It's an authentic place!! I Would recommend La Pineta!
