Stayed here for one night in May. Can honestly not fault anything about the premises. It excelled in terms of location, facilities, cleanliness and comfort. We were allocated a room in newly renovated period house owned by and next to the Silken Tomas. So luxurious and great value for money. The owner of the property showed us to our room and could not have been more friendly or helpful. We ate in the restaurant , food was delicious and great selection of cocktails. Live music in the bar. We will definitely be back and can't recommend this establishment highly enough.
The hotel was very clean and comfortable, but the highlight of our stay there was the staff from both the hotel and the restaurant. They were all very nice and made our stay at the hotel perfect. Would definitely stay there again.
I travel from UK to Kildare for work on a monthly basis and have now stayed here many times over the last 3 years. I love staying here. Restaurant - Food choice is excellent, quality and taste of the food 5* and the attention to the detail of the decor is wonderful. Staff - Always had a really super experience with any team member I have spoken with during my visits. Can’t help enough. Rooms - I always have a comfortable stay - rooms are a good, varied size depending on your needs. Recently stayed in the brand new building and one of the best nights sleep I’ve had in ages. I would definitely recommend this place for any of the above. Really close, walking distance to Kildare Village and Kildare Outlet Village. Parking - Parking available - free to guests
Immaculately clean Comfortable bed Beautiful restaurant, food and bar Welcoming and attentive staff Brilliant location Would highly recommend and would to return one day Thank you to all staff for a brilliant weekend
Enjoyed a reasonable, good sized room with a comfortable King Size bed, tea and coffee amenities. The room was clean and fresh and comfortably appointed. All lines provided smelt fresh and clean. Some toiletries were provided. The bathroom was a good size, with a good shower. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is usefully positioned to investigate the area, The Curragh is very near as is the Irish National Stud and Japanese Gardens. There is good shopping at Kildare Village Outlet Mall. The hotel has a very good restaurant catering to all tastes, which we also enjoyed. The Staff at all points were attentive, helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend and would definitely go back.
This was our second 2 night stay at Silken Thomas. Our room was beautiful, very comfortable, quiet and clean. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming, special thanks to Beata she's lovely and was so helpful when I was booking our stay as it was for a special occasion. The food in the restaurant is excellent, we ate there on both nights of our stay again. Great choices available for breakfast too. Brilliant location for Kildare Shopping Village and The National Stud. Highly recommend this hotel, we love it.
My friend booked this accommodation as we were travelling from England to visit a friend who lives in cork ( half way travel for both of us ) our friend picked us up at the airport and drove us down to Kildare check in was easy and fast with free secure parking for guests ( general public have to pay) we were made welcome by the owner and shown to our room. There's a selection of rooms out the back if the pub and ours was in the old postmasters house across the road. Our room was made up of one double bed and two single beds ( I chose the top bunk which was fun ) The room was very clean and spotless as was the bathroom. They provided a kettle with tea and coffee etc towels hairdryer and iron and ironing board. We went out for the day to come back to find housekeeping and had cleaned our room left fresh towels etc. We also are at the pub which is across the road and part of the accommodation, The food was lovely and very filling. Service was top notch and the staff were lovely and couldn't do enough for you, we enjoyed the food so much we ate there again on the second night of our stay. It's a lovely restaurant and pub and a very convenient location and they had live for the music on both nights we were there. For being right next to the pub there wasn't any noise from the people at closing time. Our room was facing the main road so there was some noise from the traffic but this didn't bother us. Overall it was a brilliant stay and I highly recommend this place. Staff food and accommodation all in one place you can't go wrong. Hope to be back again.…
Delivered once again , fantastic 4 days in kildare , fab staff excellent rooms and a fab breakfast, boys been coming 11 years now and my 2nd visit with them this place is amazing thankyou for looking after us once again Regards Jock and the lads.
Our room was very comfortable and spacious, with everything you need for a short stay. All of the staff were very friendly, welcoming, professional and extremely helpful. The restaurant was great with excellent food choices for breakfast, lunch and supper. It is a great spot to explore the local area from, much of it being in walking distance. We would love to stay here again.
We stayed here for one night on Easter Sunday last. As soon as we arrived we were given a warm welcome. We were brought to our room by a member of staff, she was so chatty and friendly that we already felt at home. The room was a Family sized room which was huge (two singles and a double) It was spotless, everything looked brand new and it was so warm and comfortable as well. The bed was so comfortable and the toilet/shower was immaculate. We didn't have time to eat there as we were at a house party in the area, but the restaurant was full when we got there and we heard nothing but good reports about the food from the locals. We had drinks in the bar that night and it was nice and relaxing with a band playing. We will definitely be back to this wonderful hotel very soon. 10/10
