Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Just booked for one night. Superb room, with the best mattress I’ve ever had.
Slept soundly! The morning breakfast basket was amazing, with fresh strawberries, and homemade wheaten bread and scones etc.
Beautiful uninterrupted views of the countryside.
After over 20 years, Patricia has everything just so!

Patricia and Matt were so welcoming and gracious. The rooms were en-suite, spotless and the bed and pillows ensured a great nights sleep. We were attending a family wedding and Matt dropped us up to Rathsallagh without hesitation and it was free of charge. Patricia went out of her way to accommodate us when I requested a room change at short notice. The breakfast was delicious with fresh homemade breads and jam. Highly recommend.

Our stay with Matt and Patricia just made our time in Ireland even more special. The place was clean, comfortable and very relaxing , especially having a lovely terrace and cosy living room at our disposal. The breakfasts were delicious, the bacon was a particular hit as was the home made bread. With such hospitable hosts it was always lovely coming back from a day out to this very accessible rural retreat . I would definitely recommend it .

Myself and my boyfriend stayed here for 2 nights while attending a wedding in Rathsallagh. The house itself is gorgeous and really gives you a taste of the countryside while still being modern. We could see cows, geese and ducks from the window! The rooms were immaculate and there was plenty of space and storage. Patrica and Matt were so lovely, they dropped us to Rathsallagh the day of the wedding and even gave us a lift the second day when we had trouble getting a taxi. The highlight for me was Patrica's homemade breads and jams which were part of the breakfast. The eggs also were from their own hens. Everything was fresh and tasty. Would definitely recommend for anyone who's attending a wedding!

Patricia and Matt were so welcoming and friendly. The rooms were spotless and the bed was so comfy. Not your standard B & B. Patricia went out of her way to accommodate myself and my husband with our vegan requests as well as being a very friendly host. They also dropped us to the wedding reception we were attending free of charge. Highly recommend.

Beautiful place, Patricia takes very good care of her guests. Her breakfast is excellent and black current homemade jam is delicious. The rooms are spacious, clean and the beds are very comfortable. The views of the farm were peaceful! I would definitely stay here again!

Patricia our hostess could not have been more welcoming and helpful and made every effort possible to ensure we had everything we needed.
We slept in a very clean and comfortable en suite carpeted room with a sumptuous bed.
Patricia provides a shuttle service to the local hotels for weddings and we were returned with ease from Rathsallagh House by their taxi.
Plenty of breakfast options cooked to order. Suitable for groups, couples and families.
Thank you Patricia!
