The room was nice and clean. The staff at the hotel are SUPER nice and helpful with everything. They even arranged a private breakfast for us because we had to leave so early one morning. The hotel is located north of main beach playa guiones at playa pelada, so either be prepared to walk a few km along the beach...

this place was just lovely and very affordable. our room for 2 was part of a "duplex" bungalow in which we shared a porch (including an outdoor kitchen) with one woman next door. each room had its own hammock outside, and the porch view was SPECTACULAR. the vibrant latin-typical paint colors in the foreground made such an outrageously beautiful combo...

First of all, the pictures are misleading!!! The way to the retreat is awefull and the parking outside didn't feel safe, because it was outside of the compound with no guard. We got a tiny room with ceiling vent. The room has no isolation and gets very hot during the day. There is No air. The room is very noisy...

A standard room to rest after a day in Nosara, has the look like a hostel. The bungalows and little houses as rooms are comfortable. The breakfast at morning is fruits and bread, too little for an adventurous day. The price is right for being in Nosara zone. A place to keep in mind for a backpacker maybe.

As a single woman travelling with her children, 13 and 15, this was a great place to stay. We brought the public bus down from Playa del Coco which was an experience if you have the time. We called on Sunday about the turtle nesting at Ostional's National park, Debra called the park for us to ensure that we could...

The place was so beautiful, sleeping between the trees Even I, as 18 year old girl, am very impressed of this place. The breakfast is very good with every day a nice smoothie. Nosara Retreat is a b&b I will never forget.

It's a wonderful experience, just sitting in the threehouse watching life - in all kinds - go by. Hearing the animals, seeing the birds, feeling the magic of the jungle. And knowing that after the o so tasteful smoothies the most wonderful beach of the world is waiting

In some ways Nosara is magical....there are places there that are way over priced and there isn't any reason to pay too much for a place given the awful drive to reach Nosara. But don't stay here if you can help it. The staff are very sweet and helpful, the rooms pretty large and it is nice to have access...

Lots of chances to meet others, and this was most likely attributable to the layout of this very functional and informal setting. A bunch of us had a wonderful time lounging on the broad deck between the Mango and Papaya rooms. Howler monkey groupings were feet away from said deck, most mornings, while we drank coffee. Beautiful long beaches all...

We were greeted with the grace of Deborah. The owner so instinctively kind and genuine. The second thing I noticed was that all the furniture and decor are handmade. Beautiful personally made paintings and hand carved tables. Only years of love and local relationships with the artisans could of created this privileged ambience. Breakfast of papaya and toast and coffee,...
