The tui lodge is one of our favourite places to stay in New Zealand (and we have been in NZ for a year). The place has a lot of character, in every corner there is a nice lounge area with nice features. It has a peaceful fibe and a lovely owner that makes you smile. You can borrow bikes for...

Well run hostel with big communal garden spaces and many rooms opening towards outdoors. Clean and inviting rooms. Hosts are interested, warm and attentive to guests and upkeep of the hostel. We very much enjoyed our stay here. Excellent!

Great location to see the Coromandel area. My Family enjoyed our stay. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Really friendly owners. Kitchen on site and laundry. My kids loved the animals near by and there was a trampoline to entertain them.

The most comfortable dorm bed I've had so far in New Zealand, the lodge is set back from the road with beautiful views and is serenely peaceful. The owners were lovely as was their pet lamb Lucy running around with their gorgeous dogs! Kitchen and lounge facilities are excellent too I'd highly recommend this place to anyone thinking of stopping...

We stayed for just one night but we found the accommodation fantastic. We stayed in a 4 room dorm but as it was so quiet we had the room to ourselves. The garden was beautiful and the owner very happy to tell you about all the local walks. Heaps of bathrooms for size and good kitchen facilities. Would definitely come...

One of the most relaxing stays in 10 months travelling. Great garden setting and accommodates all sorts of travellers; dorms, private rooms and campground available. Well equipped in terms of kitchens, bathrooms and common areas. Lovely owners with plenty of info on things to do. Free bike and laundry. Be aware, this is not a party place, quiet after 10pm...

We had an amazing 3 nights camping at Tui Lodge. The facilities had everything we needed (free washing machine use, clean bathrooms and two large kitchens with everything you would need). They also provide free bike hire (with a $20 deposit you get back) and the orchard came into good use when we wanted lemons and fruit! With kind and...

Our first stay at a Backpacker motel with en suite accommodation and it was just great. Staff were attentive and very helpful, the room was very comfortable and spacious and the kitchen and sitting room available for our use were more than adequate. Convenient to Coromandel town we would certainly stay there again if we were in the area.
