Lovely hosts, great breakfast with homemade goodies, quiet location apart from the very tuneful birds, and the most stunning view from room with a fab balcony to enjoy a drink or two on! Didn't want to leave.

I stayed at Te Kouma B&B for 3 nights and I would go back there any time! The apartment is spacious, clean and well equipped - just wonderful to relax there. There is pure nature with singing birds of all colours around you. Unforgettable is the breathtaking view over the bay. Jo and Kurt are lovely hosts. I enjoyed their...

We stayed at Te Kouma for a week as we explored Coromandel. Kurt and Jo were wonderful hosts and we enjoyed spending time talking with them and the other guests and breakfast. The apartment met all of our needs: quiet, spacious, clean and well equipped. It has a lovely view, perfect for relaxing at the end of the day. We...

We stayed 2 nights (8 and 9th of Dec) with Jo and Kurt and loved our stay. We would definitively love to come back again, so many things left to see, and we enjoyed meeting and chatting with our hosts. The house is very quiet in the bush, still very close to Coromandel. We had the queen room, it has...

If you're looking for an out of the way, peaceful, but stunning location to enjoy a fab weekend away from the rat race, this is it! Jo & Kurt spoil their guests with homemade bread & jams, but with the separate apartment there's as much privacy as you'd like. The sea view is spectacular whatever the weather. Thanks for a...

We were staying the second time with Jo and Kurt and we will come back for sure. We booked the apartment which is very great. Jo and Kurt serve homemade bread and German style sausages, which are really very good. Jo and Kurt are very lovely hosts. Thanks for all!

Wonderful start to holiday. Lovely accommodation and fabulous view. Almost able to see the sea from my bed. Plenty of wildlife in the garden and Jo very helpful in identification. Even a pair of binoculars left to see the birds, boats and hills. Very caring hosts. Perfect

We were after a short getaway with lots of nature around us, privacy, nice walks, away from the buzz but comfortable and affordable. We found exactly that! Loved our stay in the apartment at Te Kouma. Had everything we needed plus that extra charm added by Kurt and Jo. I wish they were my Grandparents :-) Andi

Just back from a great trip around New Zealand, one of the highlights was our stay at Te Kouma B&B run by Kurt & Jo. Our room had outstanding views over the bay, their hospitality was great especially Kurt's wonderful home made bread. The area is one of outstanding beauty especially New Chums Beach, and would certainly recommend staying with Kurt...

Using Te Kouma as a base for day trips was ok, but the journey to and from the place made it unsuitable to pop in for a refresher during the day. We left in the morning and came back at night. Continental breakfast on the first morning was delicious (best home-made marmalade ever!), but I had thought a full breakfast...
